Haha talk about karma for the Gopher fans. They were in full glee mode last night after CC beat us. They are having a bigger meltdown at GPL than we did here. Like I said yesterday, it'd be quite fitting if CC did win the broadmoor and they are one step closer.

Talk about disappointing. Well, lets hope the team will be ready for the tournament instead of limping into it. Honestly, this team needs to find some consistency... otherwise they will have an early exit from the NCAA tournament as well. With that said, I hope CC beats Minnesota and goes on to win the Broadmoor. Be quite fitting considering the origin of the trophy.

Very. Almost pathetic to watch the lack of hitting. Other than MacWilliam and to an extent Pattyn this team lacks physicality. More the reason why god damn Panzarella needs to be freaking playing. I can't believe Hakstol sat him out this weekend when his services would've been very useful. Got too many softies on the blueline with Gleason, Mattson, Forbort, Schmaltz, and Simpson. Didn't think there would be a day in hell that the Gophers would be more physical than a UND squad.

Let this game get away from us. Just like last year in the regular season match-up on the Saturday we had the lead but choked and lost 3-2. At least this time we salvaged a tie...heh. This team has ways to go. At least tonight, did see a better effort and shows that UND can compete against Minnesota. The road to the NCAA tournament doesn't get any easier so I hope this teams works its ass off on getting points here on out.

Good game by the Gophers. Pretty much what I feared was going to happen....happened. Can't say we even scored a goal since the one goal we did get was assisted by Helgeson. Pretty disappointing. Hopefully the team can make a game of it tomorrow evening.

After the Holy Cross weekend I was liking how things were going. After this weekend series against CC....all I can say is if our defense doesn't show up next weekend against Minnesota it could get ugly.

He'll get to play deep in the offensive like he always wants to do when he's suppose to play defense. Maybe he won't be as much of a liability now. Hah.

When have the Gophers ever not gotten a call their way, Slap Shot? Either way, the hit is a tough call to make. Budish definitely sold the hit but you know most players in hockey are doing that these days to make sure something gets called. Every team is guilty of having a player do it. @MissSioux: Gopher fans are notorious for making comments like that after not getting a player they wanted. It's amazing how some of them act when a player they want commits elsewhere. Talk about a coping mechanism. You don't see UND fans belittling recruits that pick Minnesota over UND.

Big, big win. Nice to get 3 of 4 points especially against the likes of Denver. Overall, a good weekend for UND. Bring on the Techies. Take them out and go into Christmas break on a good note.
