Oh, so we can't have our own rationalization when you guys are perennially use the "Oh well, we didn't want him or recruited him that hard" rationalization when a recruit you want commits to UND? Camaratta is going to be a good addition for what's looking to be one hell of a recruiting class for the Gophers. When Fasching commits, that'd be icing on the cake. (I don't think there's much of a chance he commits elsewhere such as UND)

And it seems that if you aren't shooting your mouth off making comments about people(and players) anonymously on the internet, you wouldn't have anything to do. I don't care if what you are saying is true or not but seriously, don't need to be making such comments on here.

He has? This must be your awesome mole insight or wait...you're probably just resorting to smack talk since the truth hurts. For being a mole, you seem to know a darn thing about the team.
-
You'd think the Gopher fans would have a better realization that, that is what it has been like for the past few seasons now considering they've visited Grand Forks far more than we have visited the Mooch in the past few seasons. (albeit part of the reason is because Minnesota played us in the 1st round of the WCHA playoffs in Grand Forks)

Disappointing, 2 games that the Sioux could've won but ultimately didn't. Just gotta move on, learn from the mistakes and get ready for the next opponent. Go Sioux.
-
Well that is pretty much it. Disappointing weekend. These 2 games were winnable for the Sioux. Not only were the Badgers capitalizing on Sioux mistakes but they were also getting the lucky bounces while the Sioux weren't getting any. Silver lining, Kristo and Blood are beasts.
-
The Wisconsin radio/webcast guys are flipping brutal. Every time a Sioux players checks a Badger player they say the Sioux player is head hunting or making contact to the head.
-
Agreed, all Schmaltz has to do is talk to Parise, Toews, Zajac, and Oshie or the countless number of Sioux alums in regards to UND preparing guys for the NHL.
-
Of what I saw of the first period, I thought the Sioux were playing better than the Badgers. We just gotta quit taking penalties.
-
Sioux taking stupid penalties. Go figure!

Looking forward to Wisconsin match up

For those who get the Fox College Sports channels, the Friday game is going to be aired live on Fox College Sports Atlantic(Ch. 317). It shows up on my Midco DVR guide. Looks like the only way to watch the Saturday game is via webcast? -
Precisely this. It doesn't matter whether we have a seasoned or young team, we still get embarrassed by Boston College.
-
I don't think I have a good feeling about next week against Maine. We haven't matched up well against Hockey East teams even when we do have pretty good teams. Not only talking about last year when we went to Maine but as well as the last time they visited Grand Forks and swept us. A split against Maine would be acceptable.
-
I wish it wasn't the latter statement on my guess in regards to the result of playing BC that'd turn out true.
-
Things got ugly for the Sioux pretty fast...yikes. BC showing more cohesiveness than the Sioux who are not really playing in sync as a team. Got the 3rd period to possibly turn things around. Go Sioux.
-
Good time for Forbort to get his first collegiate goal!
-
Awesome to see that Grimaldi will be playing, can't have too high of expectations though since he is probably hasn't fully healed from that leg injury.
-
In regards to tomorrow's game against Boston College...I can either see us eeking out a win or getting lit up which tends to happen whenever we play BC.
-
As suspected with being the first collegiate game of the season, pretty sloppy yet the Sioux dug in and earned the win. Much respect for Coach Serratore and the Air Force Academy. Both teams are young and this game could've been won by either team. @Wilbur: People were hating on AFA in regards to the NCHC? I think they'd be a solid addition but no one considers AFA because they are attached to the hip with Army in the Atlantic Hockey Conference.
-
I think the Nelson-Knight-Kristo line is going to be heavily relied on to score points or to create energy.
-
At this point, I'd rather have St. Cloud than having our conference be Notre Dame's *****. Adding WMU & SCSU proved to be an insurance policy in the event that the NCHC and ND couldn't come to terms with each other.
-
Indeed, star2city. I'd really like to know what Notre Dame's stipulations were because they've must've been pretty egregious for the NCHC to make that press release. You'd have to think that the NCHC was willing to give Notre Dame some allowances or benefits to a degree. Yeah?
-
Tweets from College Hockey News: Also here are some tweets by College Hockey News: Link: http://twitter.com/#!/chnews Talk about unfortunate that the NCHC and ND couldn't find some middle/common ground.

NCHC moving on without Notre Dame Link: http://undhockey.areavoices.com/?p=88477 I haven't really been a fan of the NCHC brass but I absolutely respect the decision they've made. Didn't cave to the demands of Notre Dame. They may be a "name" or a "brand" but I'm glad the NCHC didn't accommodate these nose in the air *****s. It is apparent, ND wanted to be what Texas is to the Big XII but smaller and well, hockey. I would've been mad about this if the NCHC didn't do anything about trying to get ND into the NCHC but it is obvious that Notre Dame bit off more than they could chew by asking for incentives that the NCHC is not willing to give them. So with that said, I'm fine with the teams in the NCHC. Sucks that ND isn't coming but with the stipulations they had, they can go to the Hockey East.

Can't really look too much into this game but our freshman defensemen looked good and our offensive potential looks very promising.
