  1. Unless you can get yourself to the Xcel Center then you can avoid all the extra fees. I hear packages are still available but single game seats went on sale Mon. The cost is the same but if you buy the package you get the same seats for all 5 games. (this may not be the case if they add the fees on differently for single game seats) I'd be willing to help out a fellow Sioux Fan as I only work about a mile from the Xcel Center.
  2. Thanks! That saved me from going back to the previous 8 pages!
  3. Yes I'm really thinking about it. What kind of tickets are available? I may have a connection.
  4. Thanks, I had also checked the WCHA web site to see what time all the games were on. That may get to be a late night driving back after a Sun night game. I really doubt it will go three games but just in case.
  5. Don't Tempt me!!! Do you know what time game 3 would be played if it came to that?
  6. They have all big screen TV's now. I'm sure that the place will be packed. Anyone know which games will be televised on what networks? Fox S say teams TBA. I doubt the Gopher vs. AA will be a real nail biter. I'd be interested in seeing the SCSU and CC game. And obviously want to see the UND games.
  7. It's still 2 hour's til face off.... But you got it.... LET'S GO SIOUX!
  8. So who's going to be going to Sensors to watch the game tonight?
  9. No kidding! That's way cheaper than a tank of gas! And you can sleep or whatever instead of having to drive.
  10. I thought you could get more seats if you wanted with the suite but you have to pay extra for them?
  11. Well the bars are open til 2am now. Perkins is 24 hours a day, and the buses that go to the burbs stop running but if you just ride the loop on the same bus in the city they go all night.
  12. Do any of you season ticket holders know the scoop for the play in round? Hoping we have home ice, do your season tickets include the play in games? Or do season ticket holders get first option to buy? When would tickets be available to the average person wanting to get to the games. And do you buy them single game or the whole series? Any details would be appreciated!
  13. You'll really be in the poor house when you have to finance your trip to the Frozen Four! You can buy the $50 ticket package, hope that you can sneak into better seats and ride the metro transit bus all night for about $2. Dorthy Day is just across the street and they serve 2 meals per day. Really it can be done, how big a of fan are you?
  14. Yeah! It's way better live anyway! You can get your package now.
  15. Doubtful. The place is usually full of Sioux fans. (not sure how many consider themselves "red necks") They always have the Sat home games on.
  16. You must have been sitting right in front of me, I felt the same way. I have to go to Regions Hospital for work and even being there I was shook up about it. Good luck Robbie! I hope to see him back on the ice next season.
  17. Please tell me you didn't learn to spell at UND!! Going to a hockey game is also about the experience as a whole, which includes cheering, jeering, music, snacks, intermission entertainment the whole nine yards. Which is why people go to the game rather than just watching it on TV or reading about it in the paper.
  18. They start at a min of $150 bid, go up by $25. Matt Jones was at least $600. I saw one this weekend at $500. I think it was Smaby's.
  19. I just wish I could watch any of the hockey games. They all seem to be on during the day when I am stuck at work, and I don't have cable so I'm stuck with the figure skating on NBC. So I can live vicariously through your posts.
  20. I heard tickets are available for both nights. No reason you both can't go.
  21. you could easily get one in the new Ralph....they don't check small purses. A little gopher would easily fit into my purse...of course it would need to be frozen and in a plastic bag. Bad news is the local paper (Pioneer Press) reported that the Gophers will not be playing at UND next season.
  22. Now I am feeling old.... Most memorable game was at the final five vs SCSU (I think it was 99) when the Sioux came back in the last 3 mins, being down 5-2 to tie the game and go to OT. We ended up losing but that was an real nail biter and a great come back. Fav. Goalies--Eddie, Parise Other favorite players...Jason Blake...first player that I totally made a fool of myself in front of Tony Hrcus, Zach Parise, Bochenski, Lundbloom, A. Schneider, Panzer, Comodore First game ever seen live...at the old barn, can't remember who we played but I was sitting on the glass right behind Eddie and they won the MacNaughton cup that night.
  23. The Swarm play in the same arena as the WILD, I don't know how difficult it is to convert the ice to turf but its basically the same field. AND the Swarm games are fun so I'm sure that a UND lacrosse team would be fun to watch too.
  24. I'm already with you. I've been voting since it opened, when it was still open to any player on all the teams. GO SIOUX!!! We need a Hobey.
