  1. Anyone have a way to contact Al Pearson?
  2. It is also funny because the Bison fans thought that the NDSU program and team was at such a higher level than in SDSU's and were much more prepared for the move to AA. Anyone see Bohl snap on the interview after the game on the question about the pass interference game? Hilarious
  3. I guess it all depends on what you call deliberate. I think NDSU happened to jump in head first without a conference affiliation being secured. I am not saying UND will be in a better shape, but I don't them being worse off either. There definitely has been no need to rush into the move.
  4. I don't think very many Sioux fans will be eating crow. In this whole process, the reason most Sioux fans made fun of NDSU was the knee-jerk reactions they made. UND had taken the wait-and-see approach because there is no rush at all. NDSU had been told to get settled in first and find a conference, but no they had to do everything right now! Almost as if they had to have something to hold over UND's head. Maybe UND will be no better off, maybe they will, especially if anything with the Big Sky comes through. Only time will tell.

    Madison

Anyone know the good places to stay in Madison? Going there for the first time next month!
  6. For those interested or forgot, tickets went on sale for single game tickets at Duluth today. Log on to ticketmaster or call the UMD ticket office.
  7. Anyone know if any bus trips are being put together yet, especially for the 1st half trips like Mankato, Madison or Duluth? Al Pearson maybe? Any help would be appreciated.
  8. People used to kid that Ralph would put a casino in the arena, heck that would seem normal now, why not some slots at the bar. I think I found the sight for the new Indian casino in town. How many REA officials does it take to screw in a light bulb? I don't know, but it would take awhile as they figure out much more $$$$ to charge fans while screwing them over more and more.
  9. I don't get it...it takes months, maybe years of UND and the city butting heads to allow fans at the Al to have ONE beer at their seats. Now the Ralph has a rewards program for frequent buyers of booze and "drink specials" . What next...a dance club as another profit generator. Maybe the Ralph could be the next El Roco or Edge as a hotspot around town. If there isn't a hockey game they could just open up the bar for the public. I wouldn't put anything past these people as moronic as they have proven themselves.
  10. Yes, it is hilarious that she states she wants to test the waters with DI, but yet the Bison don't have a chance.
  11. So what are the chances of Glick being back on the team next year after her rehab?

    CW

Maybe the CW coach should worry about getting his team ready for next week and make sure they don't get trounced by 34 instead of worrying about a fake punt.
  13. I seen there was another Dressler in the boxscore from when Bismarck was in town on Friday night, what does anyone know about him.....related to UND's RS freshmen..as talented/as fast?
  14. Once again, what does that say about the 10+ threads about UND on the Bison site!
  15. Yeah, but the crap that Tony lets go over on the Bison site is OK!! I have never seen another group as worried/obsessed with UND as the Bisonville guys, I thought they were going to forget about us...pretty much like we have forgotten about them, but I guess they can't..The jealousy runs pretty deep over there.
  16. I didn't say he was the best coverage man, he just seemed to make alot of big plays when the team needed them. A team needs a couple of those players out on he field too. It will be very interesting having so many capable corners, especially since 3 of them are so young. Depth is definitely something that we have not had in a long time at CB.
  17. Yes, Hoffschneider was such a big playmaker that I can't imagine him not being out there for very high percentage of the plays.
  18. Do you think he will start over Hoffschneider or do you mean one will move to the other side for Manke? I would hope its Manke.
  19. Well, this certainly takes some of the fun out of the UAA series. First Glencross leaves, who I enjoyed watching as much as any opponent last year...and now fatty is gone. I suppose that means no more McDonald's costumes in the student section this year?
  20. Babington-Johnson not in the 2-deeps this year again, that definitely shows some depth.
  21. Well, Virg should have had his anonymous source whispering in his ear by now who it is.
  22. That's about what he said on WDAZ last night in a telephone interview. He said he had not talked to the Sens in about a week. Also stated that if they don't offer a deal he found agreeable by the end of August, he would be back at UND for the season.
  23. I am not arguing against the Betty, that is not what I meant, it is this craziness of two home-courts. We have went over the pros and cons of the Hyslop and the Betty before...no reason to rehash those ideas. This is all about the Betty. If the place is so great, which I hope and think it will be, lets build a new home court tradition and advantage in the Betty. I am the first one for that, but that isn't really going to be possible if we don't switch all games to the Betty. I really don't think that the Ralph is going to land us those big recruits if we don't start winning more consistently, which can be accomplished easier by having a nice advantage at home. The Betty should be able to sell itself to recruits, maybe even better than the lifeless bb atmosphere at the Ralph. Anyone who thinks that what this program(men's) needs to be recharged is the Ralph, is probably dreaming because I highly doubt that the Ralph is ever going to be a great bb venue. I really don't think the way to an NCC title is to practice in the gym for about a week and then play 4 consectutive home games there. It is proven that to win in the NCC, you had better win most of your games at home. This is definitely not a situation condusive to that.
  24. Another part of the two-arena fiasco is that with the new schedule, the conference home opener is the first game at the Ralph. So the team will be lucky to have a week of practice at the Ralph before playing in the foreign setting. That is quite the home-field advantage. This whole situation gets more messed up as time goes by. I am still trying to figure a good reason for all this.
