Sandelin sure was leaving his options open it sounded like to me by the quotes from Sweeney. He basically said that the UND job was not worth discussing because no one knew if the job would be opened up, so why waste time talking about it. He then continued to say that if it did open up, he would then see at that time if it interested him. IMO, that says he is very interested, otherwise he would just come out and say he is staying at UMD.

Yes, the Marks interview was very interesting. He sure was campaigning for the job. Seemed very excited to move back to the area if the chance arose. His wife is from the area and his son really wants to move to an area that provides more opportunities to play hockey. Sounds like he is a stud goalie.

Who knows what would have happened in '99 had Jed P not gotten hurt halfway through the playoff game @ NWMSU. That team could have went all the way easily. Too many injuries to overcome.

If everything is so great in Bisonville and all these great matchups with teams NDSUcks wants to play and all the huge draws forecoming, then why was there all the whining,complaining, moaning, bitching and name-calling when UND refused to play them? The spin-doctoring that comes out of NDSU fans is a complete joke, like that's a surprise. Good luck creating a FB rivalry with that powerhouse from Brookings. At least the Bison will be able take that trophy home more than they have the Nickel the past decade.

I am sure UND has to run out and make up some new imaginary trophy to play for to replace the Nickel also, to make themselves fell better when there are no conference titles or playoffs to play for. No, I guess that is NDSU. Oh, wait how did I forget about the GWFC, which is a bunch of D2 teams that feel better about themselves and thump their chests because they are D1 now even though they are playing the same teams still.

I can't believe JBB hasn't came up with one of his anti-NDSU conspiracy theories by UND as the reason why they have stooped to the level of playing NAIA and non-scholarship teams. Somehow Ralphie had a hand in this I am sure. They would die to play Crookston or Moorhead this year...it would have to be a better gate. And don't forget.."they did beat Montana", 'cuz if you do, they will remind you!

I have to give the Bison fans credit fot one thing...and that is that they can spin anything and make themselves believe that this schedule is a good thing. For anyone who even caually looks in at the bisonville board, this schedule goes against everything they had said in the past. They would be better off just admitting it sucks and move on.

Tickets were no problem and would be no problem for monday night either. I was rather disappointed in the Sioux crowd. Sat was okay, but not a great turn out. I seen just as many people if not more for the regular season game in Brookings. A LOT of regulars were not here. There was a decent turnout with local area alumni Sat night. I am kind of worried how many will be here Monday. Hopefully a few can come down. With spring break I would hope there will be a few students who grew up here will come to the game. SDSU has a very nice group here.

The arena is a complete joke...one set of bathrooms for 2500 people, basically one concession stand with no selection (pop,hot dogs, popcorn, candy), they don't even give you ice or lids for your pop. The bleachers are old wooden ones brought in from the fb field. The only close parking was $5 with very few spaces. Numerous area high schools and small colleges have much better facilities. Devils Lake is a mecca compared to this. CSP had by far the least fans of the four teams on semis night. If they had more than 500 fans I would be shocked...embarrassing for a host school. SDSU had by far the most fans.

Um, stupid..they probably should bow to the NCC. In the last 11 years, NDSU has won 4 NC's, UND 3 and SDSU 1 and and I believe the 3 years a NCC team has not won, they were the runner-up. Included in that were 2 OT losses where the NCC team blew big leads. I can't wait for a NCC team to blow CSP out of the water, if they even get to play them.

So are we going to get there and then it be back to a capacity of 1200 and people turned away? How about the ticket prices...are they all of a sudden going to double when you walk up to the window, heck how about games times? Did they not see in Brookings last year that more than 800 people actually come to NCC games?How about the four NCC teams just meet somewhere again and screw everyone else. I hope someone from the NCC pounds CSP by 30 and show them what real BB is about.
