A little jumpy there JACKGUY, all I did was ask for details on the story. I never accused SDSU of anything. In fact I think most Sioux fans respect the SDSU program much more than NDSU's. I will miss playing them much more than the Bison....but settle down, one shouldn't be quite so cocky when comparing women's BB programs and titles with either ND school.

Wasn't there a situation also with one of the current UND women's freshmen class, where she had gave SDSU an indication she was going there and pulled out and signed with UND.

And that mens BB team is quite a powerhouse. 13-8..WOW!! Christ, Glas has made the playoffs more than them lately.

That's damn hilarious. Boy, for not giving a hoot about UND and us fans...they sure are spiteful and spend most of their day whining why UND won't play them. Even if everything they said about UND and its "excuses" were true, WHO CARES??...move on!! They wanted to get away from D2, but all they talk about is why one D2 school won't play them. With all those great teams they will be playing, you would think they would forget about UND.

Lawkota has some great points. Some students have "turned" against the athletic dept and the Ralph more and more as they get singled out in the media as the bad guys....and also because of unfulfilled promises to get the crowd into the game. And no the noise meter does not count as crowd involvement. These feelings of betrayal have left a FEW students not caring what comes out of their mouths.

I have to agree that this process pretty much leaves a bad taste in my mouth....not that there was anything wrong done. It is just that the regular fan likes to have some memorbilia including game worn jerseys while at the same time help funding the program. It seemed last year that a lot of family also bought them. At those prices, most fans can't afford them or are not willing to. If these couple of guys are just fans, well then good for then...they will have quite the collection in the den, otherwise if they are trying to resell at a later date, I hope they get smoked.

Well said nodak! And once again the suites and club rooms really don't fit into the basketball culture. The bars never have more than a few people in them. BB fans are a much different crowd.

Their are actually people who are drunk more than people from the Grand Forks area... I'll be damned!
