  1. If you are telling me that Glas is a great coach, yes you do know that much. And please don't tell me this Ol coach dagwoods and are going to throw golf clubs through our windows with Jack Nicholson. You are the one that said Glas has such good seasons lately. He is outcoached almost every game in the NCC and NSIC, and his teams consistently get worse as the season goes on. Yep, no one should gripe about this loser of a coach!
  2. All I know is that about 8 of us Sioux fans killed our livers at Frog, Bear and the Wild Boar for four straight nights. Usually a couple hundred Sioux fans went thru the doors every night. Coolest part was seeing some of the Gopher players in there Thursday night....cool as in they got beat so they were the team out boozing it up instead of the Sioux players. Met many cool Maine and Boston fans......we were surrounded by OSU fans, every other comment was something good about UND. Either the volume of noise we made, our cool colors and jerseys, the quality of play (numerous times they said they don't see that quality of play in the CCHA about all 4 WCHA teams).....even a couple of positive comments about the "home of the Sioux" at the end of the anthem. Other than damn near getting cavity searched on Sunday in the Columbus airport, a very fun trip. Funniest line of the weekend. "It's like running into Jesus without a camera", teenage UND fan on the downtown hotel shuttle bus on Sat night after game when he realized no one had a Sharpie for an autograph and Ed Belfour and family was sitting 4 feet across from him.

  4. Well, I would hope people with some current mental issues wouldn't be cleared to play....he would be put in a very pressure packed situation. I would agree he is fair game.
  5. PA is the Vikes play by play man also, if that helps.
  6. If anyone needs tix, UND still might have some left, worth a try. The UND office finally called me at about 4:00 this afternoon (after waiting for a call since Moday afternoon) to tell me they had tickets for me after they told me yesterday at 5:00 pm that I wasn't high enough on the "priority list". I had already went and got my own this morning. The ones UND had left were on the club level, Sect 218-220.
  7. Also talked about them calling a player "slimey", when it was actually a comment about Sterling from the boys which was meant to be a compliment about not being able to get a good hit on him. Probably a Bison fan down there calling in to stit it up.
  8. It was basically Tim clarifying some comments from the coaches show on Wed night that some idiot Gopher fans had twisted around trying to make make bulletin board material. Tim even stated he had the tapes if needed.
  9. They were going to have a second charter thru Creative Charter out of MSP. It is actually the Gopher charter out of MSP and the seats that the Gophs didn't take by 1pm today was going to be opened up to the Sioux fans. That plane is supposed to also be returning Sat night.
  10. hotwire still has deals for well under $800 for 2 people out of the cities if your not picky about exact times of flights
  11. 2 more here for the downtown Holiday Inn!
  12. Hennesey stated on the radio Thursday morning from Boston that Hirsch had went a little more "off the deep end" since he had watched the movie "Passion of Christ". Hisrch had also stated that he thought that Christ had called the team meetings on Friday before the game, not Lucia.
  13. yeah, I did...just thought you were doing the WCHA thing!
  14. Yeah, I was about 5-6 rows up from you Mafia Man....I was thinking "what the hell" when I seen that Gopher jersey Friday night, funny stuff.
  15. Roebuck said on coaches show that Maffin will be lucky to play next year...possible red-shirt. The depth everyone was anticipating is already starting to wane.
  16. The only coach will be Roebuck tonight.
  17. The biggest IF is Lindahl and I really don't see it happening. He hasn't shown that he wants to be the man. He played up to his talent 3 or 4 times this season. I don't see what will all of a sudden make him play more aggressive his senior season. I couldn't agree more on AJ....one of the few all out hustlers, just isn't close to a NCC starter-type.
  18. yeah, that was not bashing...I must have talked to twenty people over the wekend at the womens regionals who basically said the same thing, " I wish Glas had applied for the AD job" or " I hope UND finds an opening somewhere else for Rich"
  19. The show wasn't much, no Hakstol, Eades was on and talked alot about warroad and the mn tourney.
  20. This had to be bumped back to top...LOTS of good tickets left.
  21. Bison Dan, I should realize you are the all knowing on womens BB! I have seen enought NCC ball the 17 seasons or so since Roebuck came to know these bottom teams have improved immensely. I know your ideas revolve around that great DI program, but believe it or not there are good teams still even without the Bison. Take your smug remarks about a subject you have no idea about and discuss them with your other Bison buddies being 'Su fans have nothing better to do during tournament time.
  22. especially friday night there should be no problem, I think the perception of a weaker opponent will keep the appeal down.
  23. I understand it is tough for for cow college fans to follow....but the league is much deeper than ever. There are not any gimmes anymore on the road. Mankato is on a fast turnaround wirh Lori Fish. The new UNO coach is also bringing that program up. And as 92,96 stated, next year there will be at least 4-5 tough teams with no easy games. Whereas when the mighty cow college women were winning all their titles in the late 80's to mid 90's it was usually only 3 tough teams with many (5-6) easy games that the top 3 could have a off night and still win by 20.
