  1. In the postgame, it sure didn't sound good for Genoway. Tim said he was on crutches, unable to put weight on one of his legs.
  2. Men up by 4 early in 2nd half.
  3. Yeah, I remember last summer people on this board saying we'd still be at the top of the league after the big two left. Where are those people now? Probably the ones calling for Hak's head. There was no way this team had a chance to be consistent all season. Imagine if the freshmen hadn't played well, might be looking at 8th place. There is a chance still to do something, but to think this team was going to a .750 team was insane.
  4. Story from USD student paper and the protestes outside the Dome last Saturday before the game. I told them UND doesn't have a mascot, but of course they only hear what they want to. It was funny they had put all this work into it and so few UND fans were there. USD article
  5. Yeah, it won't necessarily be Winona, but someone from the Sun is in, but I think the UND men will drop out of the top eight anyway unless they somehow pull off a sweep.....maybe MSU-M will be looking ahead to Omaha too much.
  6. This is getting to be ridiculous!

    MOSS TO OAK

The happiest guy in the NFL has to be Kerry Collins today!
  8. Hak just stated on the coaches show that Murray will not play at all this weekend.
  9. Right now the men would be out because the NSIC top team, #9 Winona, would bump them as the NSIC has to have one team in.
  10. BB coaches will not be on radio tonight as they are on way to Mankato, so we will not be able to hear Gene vent.

  13. Beas' report from Friday night: -put on some weight in upper body, maybe 15-20 pounds -played outside, rarely posted up. 15-18 footers and also took the ball to the hoop quite a bit. Missed quite a few shots he has to make when he went to the rim. Should of had close to twenty points, he had 10. -he had 8 boards, but still needs improvement for the next level -still not in game shape, got pretty winded in third and didn't play in 4th
  14. Good ol' Richie sure got the boys ready for the game Saturday in Vermillion. It was an embarrassment to be in the stands for that one. I don't think the team could play any worse. Other that the first and last three minutes of the game, it was almost unimaginable. No hustle, no rebounding, getting beat back on transition defense constantly and the worst part was the offense. Everyone stood around like they had never played the game before...no ball movement, no screens, no cutting to the basket. When the end of the bench finally came in, the regular rotation had 39 points in 37 minutes. The players were hanging their heads before halftime. Once again, Glas had a team underachieve when it really mattered.
  15. And don't forget Jeff Brandt is still on the Dakota Wizards roster, which is who Sioux Falls is playing Friday night. I would enjoy seeing another 2-13 night from him for old times sakes and watching him pump his fist and cock off when he makes his two shots. Brandt is averaging about 8 min/gm, 28% on threes and 30% from the field.
  16. I think Roebuck stated that overall the NCC was 14-4 against the RMAC and the NSIC was 13-3 and most of those 7 losses were at RMAC sites.
  17. To answer my own question, the subsection finals are on March 1st @ The Ralph in TRF. The sectional finals are on March 4th @UMC. If neither UND team ends up hosting the NCC tourney I am guessing there might be a few Sioux fans at a B-G-MR and Fosston final.
  18. anyone know when and where the sectionals are for the section 8 girls are this year?
  19. True. Sad, but true.
  20. For anyone going to the games in Vermillion Saturday, Sioux Falls is playing at home on Friday night for those who might want to catch the Beas'.
  21. Yeah, one more reason not to go to Dagwoods, but then I guess I have no credibility. So if having board names makes everything said on here have no credibility, why do you waste your time on here? Heck, why even respond? I guess next time anyone has an opinion on BB, we should ask ol'dags if it is ok as he is the BB guru.
  22. I'm glad this is not the final poll....UND would probably(if no upsets) have to beat Mankato, Metro and UNO at home in the regional if this was the seedings.
  23. 1 Nebraska-Omaha 11-2 19-3 2 Metropolitan State 13-2 18-2 3 Minnesota State Mankato 13-2 19-3 4 Fort Lewis 11-2 16-3 5 Nebraska-Kearney 13-4 17-4 6 North Dakota 11-5 18-6 7 St. Cloud State 12-4 17-5 8 South Dakota 8-5 17-5 9 Northern State 8-3 15-5 10 Fort Hays State 9-4 15-6
  24. I do know that SDSU really likes the current freshmen class though...including a couple of stud redshirts. It sounds like more of a poor attitude than a lack of talent, some of the seniors not playing with emotion realizing the end is near. If I was to guess, Nagy will get it turned around and improve steadily.
