This is by far my favorite off-season thread. People who drive 70.03 mph, while trying to pass someone that is going 70.00 mph. People (usually old people, Asians, and the occasional woman ) who are merging onto the interstate (not via a cloverleaf) going 20 mph less than the flow of traffic. People that wear camelbacks to events such as WeFest and 10KLF. You're not running a marathon, walking across the desert, or going on long bike ride. Either carry a bottle of water, or ever better, get a cold one!

Yes, I agree, give into peer pressure, get drunk, get wasted! You're only 21 once, and 21 year olds don't get hangovers. What will your kids think of you when they find out that you didn't get wasted on your 21st! They'll probably rebel by getting wasted at 13. Don't do that to your kids. If you can't get wasted for yourself, at least do it for your future offspring.

Nope, I meant what I wrote, Propagandists. I only have a few minutes right now, but I'll read whatever articles anybody else linked to, but I have just one point to make for now (forgive me if it's already been made). These "scientist" that claim that CO2 is the cause for the slight change in temperature, how much grant money, or whatever money, do they receive to study "global warming." One more quick point, who's to say that when the temperature was on average 0.7 degrees Celsius a hundred years ago, was the ideal temperature?

It might be easier to list the things that don't annoy me. But what fun is that? Walmart. People that shop at Walmart. People who push their shopping carts through the aisles, without watching where they're going. People who just stop in the middle of one of the main aisles for no apparent reason. Pretty much everything that diggler listed, except for saffron, pants, and cottage cheese. Oh yeah, nothing wrong with sporks or taco bell either. People in turn lanes that think they need 7 car lengths between them and the car in front of them before they start moving when the light turns green. The fat cows that sit out in their driveway every day. Get a job! Or even better, get to the gym! Neighbors who let their dogs bark, especially when the dog is five feet away. Tiny little lap dogs. If you can drop kick the animal over the house, it's not a dog. Premium porn sites. Global warming propagandists. People who wear che guevera shirts. Jobless hippies. Michael Moore. People who bitch and moan about how their life sucks, but expect a monthly check from the government. People who bitch and moan about doing their job. Don't like it... QUIT. Drive through attendees, or for that matter, any food service person who's always trying to push dessert, cheese bread, or whatever it is that their manager is trying to get them to push. Salesmen. Especially door to door ones. People who don't get four way stops. You stop first, you go first. It's really that easy. People who actually stop first, sit there and wait, then wave you through. Sale people who constantly bother you while your shopping. If I want help, I'll ask...then of course I won't be able to find one. Ed Schultz. Jim Rome. Colin Cowherd. Chris Collinsworth. "News" stations that report on Paris Hilton, Anna Nicole, or any other celebrity. If I want entertainment news, I'll turn on ET. Did I mention the hypocrite Ed Schultz. I was also able to catch the can-chzech game via streaming video today (free). You'll need to download "sopcast" and also the VLC media player (again just google). Here's a link (to a thread) with a tiny bit of help (normally the streaming video will play right off of the sopcast player, but the guy streaming the WC games has it set up to use VLC with the sopcast streamer_probably better quality, and it was very good-as good as any webcast i've seen): http://myp2p.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?id=12490&p=1 I'll also copy/paste the imp stuff below. NHL3Guy is the person streaming the games, so he'll have all the tech posts. open the stream in VLC as written here: 1 Click the NHL link on the schedule page to start Sopcast (Substitue channel of choice) 2 If Sopcast opens but does not launch the channel, click the link again 3 Wait for the channel buffer to reach at least 50% 4 Launch VLC then click File, Open Network Stream... 5 Click the HTTP radio button and in the URL box enter 127.0.0.1:8902 4 Click OK 5 Leave Sopcast running and watch the stream in VLC (latest version) You will find VLC Player and other help here at their site.... a link to http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ It really was pretty easy, just follow the directions. It took a little while for me to figure everything out, but I did manage to catch the last 1/2 of the 3rd period. Wtih about 3 minutes to go, near the end of Toews shift, the CR took a penalty. So Canada called a TO so that Toews could take a breather before the PP was to start. Obviously they just love him on the PP. Any questions about the sopcast, I'll be back to the computer later on tonight, and will try to answer any questions if needed. I believe tomorrow's game is Can vs USA

Yup, you'll all be getting an official "old man" card/certificate in the mail any day now. And unfortunately, it's yours forever. It's not like the man card that you currently have. Your friends can't cut a corner off of it when they catch you drinking drinks that have umbrella's in them (rule 32.1 in the man book says that these drinks are ok if on a tropical vacation), or watching Lifetime television, asking your friend if what you're wearing looks ok, if it takes you longer to get ready than your significant other, saying you're shopping for an outfit, telling friends that your wife/girlfriend won't let you go out (the game, Final Five, Frozen Four, our for a couple of beers), etc... So, sorry, there's no "losing" the old man card once it's been issued.

Yes, BIG Joe has made some bad/non plays since he first joined the Sioux two years ago as a 17 year old. But, who has improved more than Joe in the last two years. He's 10 times better now, than he was 18 months ago. Hopefully Joe will stick around and dominate on D next season.

Hooligan's sounds like the best place to watch it. However, I don't want to jinx the team by switching up locations. Went to BWW for the last two wins.

I didn't catch the 3rd and Long until after 9pm last night. Pretty sure it was Common doing Long's voice, spot on, doing a bit. It would have been funny though. As far as all of Puffy Naysayers, he is very knowledgeable about college hockey. He's pretty honest when it comes to talking about his gohpers. Going to the Xcel in March would be much more enjoyable if most of the gopher fans were more like him. He may even be a closet Sioux fan (probably just cheering for the WCHA though, I'd have a hard, alright, impossible time cheering for UMTC today if they were still in it), probably why he gave BC the "kiss of death."

Warning: Purely speculation and "I heard from a friend who heard from a friend..." With that being said (with the hope of no replys saying I'll jinx him, or "don't report rumors on this forum" etc., Third hand knowledge: UND has been contacted and told to have the band ready to play on Friday. Bring on the Black Nike Swifts for both Thursday and Saturday. Doesn't the home team get to pick what jersey they want to wear? Not only has the team gone undefeated while wearing the black Nikes, they've also won each game. Big difference. I think that by wearing black, the other teams would be somewhat psyched out by knowing the Sioux always win in them. GO SIOUX!!!!!!!
