  1. Just got home and can't believe that FSSN didn't pick up the game. Do they realize that there'd probably be 11,000+ more watching the game than a normal home game? UFB! BTW-Nice 1st Period. Goepfert, Sieve, sieve, sieve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Leaf dude guy, I forgot about the Leinie's stand. That was always my first stop last year. Then this year, voila, Blvd stand, and I haven't been back to the Leinie's stand. Probably would have the occasional Leinie, but the Boulevard is on the way to the seats.
  3. LOL, Haven't heard Steel Dragon, or the name Steel Dragon since HS. Almost 15 years.
  4. I know NC$$ wants to make money, but it's only the host institution that gets to stay at home, and #1 seeds get to go to the nearest location.
  5. Seriously, if for whatever reason you drop dead after drinking that Coors Light, Miller Lite, or God forbid Schlitz, and you find yourself in heaven or hell, and there's no beer there (I know, what kind of heaven is that?), do you really want your last beer to have been a Coors, Lite, or a Schlitz, or even worse a Keystone? You need to walk yourself over to the Boulevard kiosk and help yourself to a beer that you'd be ok with, if it so happened to be your last beer.
  6. The ABSOLUTE BEST intro song, at least in IMO, would have to be In Your Honor by the Foo Fighters. Stop what you're doing right now, put in the In Your Honor CD, and play track 1 (or go download it). The way I picture the song being used with the intro is like this: The song is pretty mellow for the first 1:40 (might be too long for the intro of the intro, but maybe not), but it is building up to a big "boom". Anyway, for the first 1:40, there would be video of Sioux players in slow motion, making these sweet a** moves around burnt defensemen. You wouldn't see a shot on goal being made for the first 1:40 though. There might also be video of Sioux opponents trying to make the aforementioned sweet a** moves on Sioux players, but only to be stymied. At 1:40, the video goes into normal speed, starting out with a huge check on preferably a Goofer, followed by more checks, and 5 or 6 sweet a** goals, also on Briggsieve. After that more goals, and more sweet a** goals, lots of checks, and of course Lammy making sweet a** saves (sorry, I was challenged to use "sweet a** five times in one post). Oh yeah, make sure the volume is turned up to 11, and pretend your sitting in the Ralph, or better yet, at the Excel (or in St Louis) for Sat nights championship game. In Your Honor lyrics; "In Your Honor" Can you hear me Hear me screamin' Breaking in the muted skies This thunder heart Like bombs beating Echoing a thousand miles Mine is yours and yours is mine There is no divide In your honor I would die tonight Mine is yours and yours is mine I will sacrifice In your honor I would die tonight For you to feel alive Can you feel me Feel me breathing One last breathe before I close my eyes This suffering For receiving Deliver me into the other side For you to feel alive For you to feel alive For you to feel alive AHH
  7. I tried using the "What If" function on Siouxsports.com, but was able to put either UND and DU in third and fourth, with them being tied in pts. Not a well worded sentence, actually confusing...Siouxsports.com's "what if function", had no tie breaker set up, is what I was trying to say.
  8. Couple of thoughts/questions; A) I would think that FSSN would pick up CC-14's broadcast. They have in the past. CC-14 is broadcasting both nights, not just Friday's like those clowns on FSN. B) If Denver and NoDak end up tied, who does the tiebreaker go to, and what are the tiebreakers? C) If this has already been covered, I apologize, but I really did skim through the last 4 pages on this thread and didn't see anything about A or B.
  9. I've always had a good time at the Red Carpet. http://www.redcarpetnightclub.com/
  10. I'll admit to knowing nothing about this, but when has that stopped my input before... It seems very unlikely that Blais leaving UND had anything to due with frustration with REA's management. If Blais were to snap his fingers, or even just flash his silver tooth to the right person, Engelstad would be looking for new management. Right?
  11. Just speaking for myself, If you don't like COWBELL, I don't like you, and you need not attend anymore games. I'VE GOT A FEVER...
  12. I stand corrected on Derek and Doug's (this is going to catch on) relationship. I do realize that when the rules are broken, there will be consequences. Sometimes those consequences are that your team gets fired up, and also one of your guys has to spend a couple minutes in the box. I guess I'm not really sure what you're getting at when you say be careful what you wish for.
  13. I was referring to Greg Shepherd, some people call him Doug, not sure who those people are, but I'm sure they're out there. I may have been over served last night before I had posted my previous post. But I still think that every now and then a coach needs to fire up his team by throwing a "hissy fit." Rules are made to be broken, if they weren't we wouldn't need Derek out on the ice, or his brother Doug doing whatever it is that he's SUPPOSED to be doing, from where ever he does it from.
  14. It doesn't matter if it does or doesn't do any good to go after shepherd (he doesn't deserve capital D, nor does his sheep of a brother, or don adams. If your team deserves, has earned a penalty shot, the ref better effen award the penalty shot. Hak should have pulled a Gwozdecky, stood on the bench, thrown his arms in the air (just because his player took a shot to the balls (THANK YOU PRPICH!, LOL), because that's what a good coach does. Hak needs to pull a Gwozdecky every so often. You can blame Jutting and Means for acting like two little boys, but blame needs to be put on Doug Shephard (head of Wcha refs?) for the fact that no WCHA ref is accountable for the !@#!$ games that they call. I meant to end this reply at the last sentence, but I started thinking back to highschool. The refs there/then are better, more knowledgeable, less likely to take games into their own hands. Which is $&%&^% word rimes with ducking, and starts wih a capital %&*&%& F. For those posters that stick up for the REFS, mereley because either they're A) an authority figure, or B) because you've coached on bantams, pull your head out of your ass. THERE NEEDS TO BE ACCOUNTABILITY, and there isn't any. NONE, NADA, ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH.

If only there was a speaker icon. My screen is a little darker than it should be, but I've scrolled my mouse all over the screen, and have yet to find a speaker. Thanks anyways.

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but does anybody know how to mute the volume and the French Canadien Webcast?
  20. 1st of all good luck to Tyler in whatever he does. If in fact he was dismissed from the team due to mental illness, good luck with that. Hopefully tDon and tU are offering whatever help/assistance that you require. Secondly, Handyman, good luck to you in your future, I'm forseeing either mall security, or perhaps volunteer sheriff's deputy. Last but not least, goodbye Glenn Mason. Hopefully the Gopher's football team has years and years of mediocrity left in them.
  21. Let's try to keep it real
  22. Right on!
  23. Let's just try not to piss this game away.
  24. Nice goal, but Lammy can't stop ANYTHING that's up and off the ice. His only chance is if the puck hits him in the chest or face mask.
