I hate to quote myself...but it came up earlier. From The Minister of Disinformation's (Sid) column this morning: Looks like he's NYR bound.

From what I've read lately, the WHL thing was only in Sid's head (or maybe Shooter's...does it really matter with those two?) and he's either coming back to MN or signing if the money is right. Now watch, he'll go WHL or Europe just to make me look bad. Otherwise, I think you'd be right on the money.

Theoretically, Vanek has two years of eligibility left, thus one more year of posturing if he returns to MN for his Jr. year. This is probably Bo's last chance to have some leverage in his negotiations.

The Sicatoka - Rumors abound. Taylor is allegedly close to signing with the NYR & Atherton is apparently taking a year off due to a family situation. Remember, the latter tidbit comes from Charlie Walters....aka Sid Lite....and the former comes from message board rumors.

Relax and re-read the post. Goon made a comment about POIers using "Sue" instead of "Sioux." I then said something about "Sue" will disappear on POI when "Goofer" is no longer seen on SS.com. I then used "Sue" and in parentheses said it was just for Goon in a post. In other words, it was in jest...sort of. Dagies caught it, I saw, and made a funny reference about it in a post on this site.
