Who would have predicted Michigan State two years ago with their less than stellar regular season record and no elite players in their lineup. However, they had good goaltending, a good D and balanced scoring from their lineup. There is always hope.
He never realized the lofty expectations that certain Sioux fans had placed on him. He was in a no win situation before he even suited up for the Sioux.
I live in Canada too so I watch any televised action or attend the games of future players whenever possible. If you have been following the Sioux and this thread for any length of time I stated that MacWilliam is going to remind most Sioux fans of former Sioux and current NHL D-man Matt Greene.
I also added that his hit on future Sioux Danny Kristo during the World Junior Challenge final was the hit of the game.
If prior to this season anyone had told me that the first place team in the WCHA would only be #12 in the PWR I would have asked them what they were smoking.
Hak said he will live to play another day which suggests it was a clean break. Based on the picture that is the best we can hope for and that Lapointe will be back on the ice to start next season.
