Do you think any of our other Seniors might show up and play tonight too

Hello Skippy nothing better to do on a Saturday night than hang out with Sioux fans.

The subject of what is wrong has been beaten to death and Murray is playing with both a bad knee and shoulder. The shortcoming of this team is obvious, the Senior class. Check out some of the previous subjects and you will find out that more than half the seniors are having the worst years of their Sioux careers and it is often seniors who make the mistakes that lead to opposition goals.

Most of the seniors have taken a big turn for the worse this year.

Why do we continue to play Massen. He can't even take a simple clearing pass. I am sick of watching this waste of skin every week. It is a sad statement about the Sioux this year that we have to have him in the lineup.

And who'd have thunk they'd add a couple of Canucks in UpChucko and Dead Kennedy as well. Makes it even easier to hate them for being such hypocrites.

The first period reminded me alot of last years regional. Campion let both teams get away with alot of clutch and grab, hacking and even hits from behind. Denver were extra heavy on their muggings of Sertich and Sterling most of the night. The Pies had brought back Larsen for this series but he got crunched real good at the end of the first and reinjured his leg (left the game). Denver was never the same defensively and could not solve the CC defense and goaltending.

Then the message board would be correct as I recall that Watkins won the fastest skater competition at the BCHL All-star game.

You named a few greats who demonstrated they could excel even when games got WCHA physical. Haven't seen Kessel have to do that yet.

Review his stats and check out which teams he did well against. He had hot and cold games and no coincidence that his hot games where against teams such as the Swedes who are infamous for their no contact hockey. He looked frustrated in the tight checking games so think of how he will feel after a good old WCHA mugging.

On TV they showed Earl on the Bucky Bench after the hit and he was hanging his head pretty low. We softened him up real good for the Dogs this weekend so keep hitting him and finish him off.

Dog fans, we share your pain. We keep hearing how talented Massen is and that he buries the most pucks in practice yet he has exactly one an goal and one assist and like Caig he is a senior. Both had performed better prior to this season and both must believe their hockey careers end this year because it is the message they are sending to scouts loud and clear! As for this years Hobey, my prediction is it will be a goaltender who has carried his team further than it should have gone. Just like Parise and Bochenski of last year how do you give it to one and not the other when it comes to CCs Sertich and Sterling. Potulny has not had an impressive second half and the only WCHA possibilities might be MTUs half-pint or Bucky's Bruckler.

That is part of my point. The kid has played the majority of his hockey with the national team hence international hockey on the large international ponds for the most part. No doubt that he has a set of wheels and the moves but lets see how he does in a real hockey arena with a good old physical WCHA defense before people start thinking he is the second coming.

We just couldn't offer him Lucy's personal manicurist and hairstylist.

I have never seen this done at a Sioux game but hey this is from a team that has to start making up lame excuses for their sliding record. They can't blame injuries for their demise.
