Well nothing but money/power is stopping them from playing for a legit title. Hey but if they want to play for the crystal ball of corruption more power to them.

Every school in the FCS is DI...it is a DI championship. Yes, there are better teams but they chose to play for an illegitimate title.

Isn't that just going to prepare the team for life in the Big Sky? I can tell you right now the trip to Cedar City is not something a single Bison coach or media person looks forward to.

They love to run the ball and are very deliberate on offense, I think it is a decent match up for the Bison. They have a smallish but quick DL, we should be able to run the ball based on what I saw of the JMU-EKU game. If they had more of a passing game I'd be a bit more concerned, they are kind of like UNI but without the dual threat of a solid passing attack.

I think the MVFC is 7-7 vs the CAA in the past decade. Last wins were UNI vs UNH and Maine in the 2008 playoffs, UNI lost to the eventual champ Richmond by 1 point in the semifinals that year.

Sadly the ODU game is sold out and is stuck on ESPN3, over 19k will be in attendance but for some reason they put this game on instead.

Their offensive style is as close as you can get to the four corners offense with the 35 second shot clock. They can be tough if they are hitting their shots, obviously they can get some baskets by lulling their opposition to sleep. Molinari is a great defensive coach though.

Thanksgiving weekend hurt NDSU last year(plus we weren't exactly tearing it up on the field), with two weeks to sell tickets I expect the attendance for the EKU/JMU game to be much better.

Probably, it would be a decent geographic fit and the league needs an eastern member.

Great Plains Pod NDSU-UND-SDSU-USD Mountain Pod Montana-Montana State-Air Force-Denver Southwest Pod NMSU-UTSA-Texas St-UT Arlington Western Pod Idaho-Seattle-SJSU-Utah State I know it is still very off the wall, but it gives the WAC stability and it would give the conference some structure.

I wonder if the new scholarship rule could spark some change, most Big Sky and Summit schools probably won't be too supportive of the budget increase but for a school like NDSU, Montana, MT State or UND It is something that might be workable. Right now a pretty solid conference could be built.... Air Force-Denver NDSU-UND SDSU-USD Montana-Montana State Idaho-Utah State NMSU-UTSA? Not sure how football would work though.

This idea kind of intrigues me, if you can take the Montana's, the Dakota four and grab some other western schools you could build a solid conference.

Bohl never said one word about UND, Kolpack and others did but all Bohl ever said is why are we dropping six spots after a bye week. He didn't understand it and still doesn't. I doubt he gives a damn about where UND is ranked or if they are even ranked at all, he isn't Rocky Hager.

Molberg was a good get, Bohl is mad the team dropped(a significant amount of spots) without playing game which was bizarre since teams that also didn't play a game jumped NDSU. I don't think he really cares where UND or any other team is ranked for that matter.

I think the slide in the poll despite winning big could mean there was some mix ups but since UND is still ranked it was perhaps blown out of proportion. That said, NDSU's drop to 12 last week was still bizarre.

I'm not half as worked up about it as most people are. Just wanted to give my take on it, not sure why it would be a problem now unless maybe the people who run the coaches poll sent out info that inaccurate info and confused the voters somehow. That said the Gopher game can't come soon enough, I'm optimistic but nervous since this Bison team hasn't really been tested yet. That said I think the bye week beforehand gives us a big advantage.

Well how do we mysteriously lose votes without having played a game? UND's ranking didn't really change in other polls and neither did NDSUs. Since the coaches poll only has 28 voters it is the most vulnerable to error affecting the results. I know in the AGS poll a few votes that were supposed to go to NDSU, went to UND(the admin that runs that poll said a vote for UND at #5 slipped through last week) but since there are more voters those mistakes had less of an impact.
