  1. NDSU was pretty average last year I guess, garbage teams don't play in the postseason and NDSU did. I will say that team clearly hit the wall towards the end of the season and in the offseason there was some addition by subtraction.
  2. Sounds like Shortell is transferring to Montana.
  3. Well lets just say I completely disagree with what they said. Some people seem to go overboard when NDSU loses to UND.
  4. I'm guessing she wanted a break....plus NDSU gave her a good opportunity to move into.
  5. I'm sure she has gotten the itch quite a bit.....Dehoff has made NDSU women's hoops unwatchable. It is below VB on the NDSU sports ladder now and sinking fast.
  6. No that was a decent win vs a team that had some talent and a decent coach. NDSU WBB is pathetic, congrats on helping Dehoff get one step closer to termination.
  7. The entire BSA will be gutted and redone. Yes the facility is in desperate need of repair and hopefully we break ground this spring.
  8. Only way BC gets in the B10 is if ND decides to join and that is who they want to come with. The B10 wants to move south but they still obsess over ND.
  9. He's probably still pounding on the WAC's door...
  10. Well I agree a Summit only offer isn't good enough but an MVFC offer is what would make things interesting. There are Summit schools that want to be elsewhere but most have nowhere to go which is a similar situation to the Big Sky.
  11. The basketball team was terrible after Woodside graduated, we had one good player and a bunch of role players. We lost to ORU in the Summit tournament who was far better than us, same thing happened the next year but then we at least had young talented players with no experience. The loss to WIU though was bad, getting swept by them was worse but they were the hot team at the end of the season. I fully expect to be playing SDSU in the Summit title game this year, this team is starting to click. Werner had three offers besides NDSU...I was told that from a solid source. UNI recruited Jacobson heavily and so did Creighton, other smaller schools backed off because he was very likely going to NDSU.
  12. Team has improved and won more games each season and they might very well win 20 games this year. AJ Jacobson was a good recruit for the Bison and had offers from multiple DI schools not named NDSU. Dexter Werner had other offers as well. As for the other debate....I'd be interested to see how UND's admin would react to a Summit/MVFC invite. I think there would be some coaches for it, easier travel, rivals and they'd be in their recruiting footprint.
  13. Hard to believe NMSU wants to be in the same conference with a diploma mill like GCU. Too bad the Big Sky, Sun Belt or Summit can't throw them some kind of lifeline.
  14. Yes they've been a member of the Sun Belt since 1999.
  15. Idaho is joining the Big Sky....Seattle and NMSU are still there though.
  16. ORU leaving obviously changed that, that said UMKC and Denver do work well together as travel partners since both are located near major airports.
  17. I've heard they've put their foot down to anymore all-sport additions. If they do split it could create a tidal wave of realignment among the mid-major leagues.
  18. I'm guessing the Big East basketball schools are about ready to pull the plug.
  19. I can't believe you guys are even having this debate. He should be gone, he's had five years and has done nothing. I say this as a rival fan...you guys deserve better and you should expect better.
  20. Didn't Montana State, Cal Poly and EWU just squeak by Davis....Lots of parity this year, not sure if there is one or two really great teams like last year. There plenty of good teams though, and a few will be sitting at home come playoff time.
  21. Pretty sure Heagle is the only player who has gotten a minor during the season, a few players got one over the summer. No player should be suspended for one freaking MIP. Some of you must be pretty bored to be talking about a college kid a few weeks before turning 21 getting a minor.
  22. It was eye opening is all I'm saying. For me that is the moment where I said it was time to move on, it was clear as day that we no longer fit in DII. I'm glad we did because I've enjoyed experiences at the FCS level that NDSU would have never seen in DII.
  23. DII was watered down for a good decade before we left. I remember NDSU playing a semifinal game on a field covered in cat litter, so glad we decided to leave and never look back. None of the Dakota schools fit into what DII had become, it was just holding us all back.
  24. Breach of student conduct? Discipline from the academic side of the school must be kept private due to federal laws.
  25. Yeah I don't think Terra will face sanctions from the state but these groups could try to go after them.
