you can guarantee that they aren't looking past michigan. I don't care if it is for the opportunity to play the gophers again in the dance. i don't think it matters if you are the team with the momentum or the prove the grit/world is against us because either way you have to bring it this time of year. momentum can be taken from you and us against the world can snowball if you get down early. either way it makes for a hell of a game and hopefully they get to play it.

I'm going to be without the Mrs. this weekend as she is off to visit friends in alexandria, MN. She's put it on me to find out from those in the area where she can go to watch the game. Is there any local sports bars that are going to be carrying it? is there a local channel that most hotels would have in the room? anyone from the area with any info would be greatly appreciated. Help a huge hockey fan stay out of the text message war during this weekends games!!!

on the mention of the woooooger....i can't remember which game it was for, fri or sat evening game....he started out trying to talk about one of the teams lines and completely butchered whatever he was trying say into slurring like a drunken jackass, mazcrack took over for a second, then the wooger jumped back in, said what he had tried to say before, and then made fun of himself!!! i thought it was funny as hell. I'm not a huge woog hater, i'm not a huge fan, but he is honest and keeps mazcrack in line when he get's too homerdubaygopherloveriwannahumpTDON.

Lapanta is a good guy. If you are a sioux fan, and you're watching a sioux-gopher game, you might hate him, but overall with all that he covers, he's a pretty decent guy. I too missed the intermission but woog and ma-sh!tforbrains seemed pretty adimant that esposito was an ass. Anyone know what was said or done or how it all went down??

maybe this is why it "seems" like he is shooting less. could just be that they are in the offensive zone so damn much, that he passes on opportunities more often because they know they are going to be back there in 2 minutes.

i too have noticed the increase on physical attention brought his way, but he is still cycling the puck awesome, he's still making pretty plays, but he is passing to a covered zajac or oshie rather than taking the shot....i'm probably being a little biased being a shoot first, pass second guy (bochenski), but he has a nice accurate wrister when he let's go
