even better than that, not to slight your story, but..... a group of buddies and myself ended up at muddy rivers on friday night after the sioux game. no sooner had we sat down when the Wooger walked through the door. being the college hockey fans we are, we shook his hand and my buddy says "so, wooger, what ya think?" woog looks at all of us sitting there and says "you wanna know what i think, I think Minnesota F#$#ing SUCKS!" my jaw about hit the floor and we all (including woog) started laughing and he continued on his way to belly up.

and quesadilla coming over with his left leg straight up against the post and glove open and waiting above it.

not lumping, i'm a regular season ticket holder and i cheer and yell and clap and whatnot, but i'm one of few in my section that does. there are people around me with the jerseys on that don't stand up when a goal is scored. sad, but true. and i'm not lumping, i've bolded those that i'm singling out.

that was AWESOME!! I really liked the music that they incorporated into the play by play, i really like how it foreshadowed and helped to tell the "story". I gotta be honest, i don't think i've ever jumped that high or cheered that hard for a goal by anyone, including any sioux goal, just because of the underdog, the hated gophers, and the entire vibe that was flowing through that arena. What made it that much better was that it was a hell of a prelude to the Sioux coming out for warmups with that vibe still resognating throughout the arena. Thank you HOLY CROSS for one hell of a hockey memory. That clip encompassed the feelings of 9000 of the 11000 people in the ralph that night and the countless others listening throughout. edit: i also hope that it will teach the uppity snobs at the regular season games that it's ok the be loud and cheer and provide that kind of atmosphere for our FIGHTING SIOUX and hopefully we'll be talking about the NEW atmosphere at the NEW RALPH for years to come.

with all of the accolaids going to the freshman, i kinda forgot that there were players still here from last year i give my vote to smaby also. He virtually illiminated his "big man in the wcha" penalties from last year, he has completely takin the bulls by the horns and gotten them going in the right direction. It's nice to see that he matured so much over the summer/season knowing he was THE MAN on the blueline. It's a credit to him that those other 5 are playing so well.

he wouldn't get fired for that, otherwise, why would they have left wooger at the helm for so long. We all know that it takes at least $600 bucks to get fired from the "U"

my brackets are absolutely bleeped up. i have 5 and 6 points respectively, 3 of which come from UND, i can't believe I picked that horribly!!! (I think the PWR is too blame!!....stupid system for picking teams. .....) GO SIOUX!!!

section 116 row D is right behind the players bench, 1st row. we sat in row F for the world juniors. We all thought the sound system was messed up when we were down there too!! It really sounds like crap when you are that low. our seats for this are in section 116 row p, unfortunately sharing them with two dipsh!t gopher fans from minneapolis.

is this to say that he will sign after he is drafted, spend half a season getting knocked around in the AHL, come up midseason, do some things, show his promise, and then come out of the box in the 07-08 season with a thunder?? or is he going to be drafted by pittsburg and stuck on a line with malkin and crosby and just feed them one timers and goal mouth tips all day??
