Not really worried or anything, I'd just love to see the freshman light up the scoreboard. A side note: don't take anything I say too seriously, I've been deprived of hockey and as a result, my mental state is not the best.

It's great that Spirko and Stafford are getting it done right away, but are any of the other lines putting on heavy offensive pressure? I know it's only the first period of the first game, but I get uneasy when it's only one line producing all the points.

Anyone find a decent radio feed off the bison website yet?

I hope the internet feed works well this season. I can't believe I have to wait until the middle of December to actually see a game.

Coaching is a huge factor this year. Hakstol has a season (with a fabulous finish) under his belt, and he won't have the upperclassman comparing his every move to what Blais would have done. I'm sure there will be setbacks while all the freshman adjust to a higher level of play, but I think he'll whip them into shape in no time. Be patient at the beginning of the season, but this team has so much potential, I'd expect some high quality games around Jan-Feb. And as always, Prpich will provide quality entertainment by pissing off the opposing goalies.

I'm pretty sure anyone looking at the regular season of the WCHA could say the same thing. UAA stole points from basically everyone, and Michigan Tech swept the gophers in MN. So I would say we have an equal amount of depth IN ADDITION to having more strength in our top two or three teams.
