  3. Pace is a Pensacola suburb in the second fastest growing county in Florida, Santa Rosa. Half of the guys that I work with live there. They have a huge new planned community located there as well. Jubilee Florida
  4. NCAA WOMEN'S DIVISION II GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP: UND completes historic season Great job, Ladies.
  5. Thanks for bursting my bubble AZ, but I know you are right about his stock. My post is total wishful thinking.
  6. What are the rules of a player (Toews) who is a draft pick of a team, but doesn't really want to go to that team because they stink? Obviously Toews is doing great at the Worlds. So well, that he would sought after by any and all teams in the NHL. At what point would Chicago lose their rights to him? Stay in school Jonathon, your stock will keep going up with a national championship.
  7. I ran into the Florida Southern team at the Olive Garden tonight. I asked their coach how UND looked and he said that they had a great day. UND enjoys best round to date at NCAA Championships
  8. Three recent top draft picks will take part in Canada-Sweden semifinal game
  9. I stopped off at Stonebrook today and talked to Coach Dan Frei. He said that the ladies are ahead of yesterday's pace. From what I saw on the monitors, they were +14 on the day after 12? holes. Yesterday's results had them in a three way tie for 5th place. He also said it was nice to see someone in a Sioux shirt. Go Sioux!!!
  10. Brings me back to when I was a kid building rockets that we used to buy at Benner's, downtown GF. We would build them and go over by RRHS and launch them, somehow attaching to the car battery. We launched one multi-stage, but I can't remember what happened, though. Benner's was my favorite store when I was a kid. They had everything hobby-wise a kid would want.
  11. It is stuff like this that makes me wish I was back in college. UND-Led Team Launches North Dakota's First Educational Rocket
  12. I think the key word is plan, but you are probably pretty close to right, aff.
  13. Unfortunately the weather here has heated up a lot in the last couple of days. I was out at some sites on Tuesday and commented that it felt like July in ND. There was low humidity a light northern breeze and low 80's. Today the high is 90 and humidity is going up. Still, it isn't the oppressive heat that we get here in July and August. Go Sioux !!

  17. Someone has been reading Sica's posts.
  18. Maybe it's named after Summit Brewing Company. Which would mean that UND is a shoo-in for membership, since Mark Stutrud, founder of the Summit Brewing, is a UND grad. Just having some fun with 'SU's
  19. It looks even worse than it sounds. Yuck.
  20. SUMMIT LEAGUE NAMES NEW OFFICERS AND WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS Is this the new conference? Sorry, but that was the first hit in Google. Maybe it will grow on me, but my first take is ..uh...no.

The Canad/Alerus should get a nice little test next week with the EERC sponsored BIOMASS '07 conference to be held next week. I see from the EERC flyer that the exhibitors have been sold out. Attendance is supposed to be over 300 for the conference.
  23. I have a meeting up at Whiting Field on Friday, so I may have to swing by Stonebrook CC in Pace on the way back. Go Sioux!!
  24. Quiet leaders who are willing to make difficult decisions It's amazing how she is lauded for standing by her principles, yet she chastises UND for standing up against the NCAA for being "labeled" "hostile and abusive". BTW, the definition of illiberal is "Narrow-minded; bigoted."
