The key word to UND is BEAT. As in they beat every team you talked about. It doesn't really matter how much they win by because they won. You can dance and prance and brag about your little boy Hall all you want, the same thing will happen to you that happens to all the other teams that play UND. You have victory snatched from you and your little Alabama hearts will be broken. It will be OK though because then on December 13th, you'll get to see the mighty Sioux in person. And then you'll get to see the same thing happen all over again. You'll be cheering for GVSU/Kingsville and be all cocky, but then boom Johnny Bowencamp will make another wonderful pass and Travis Lueck will run for another 60 yards and you'll go home dissappointed. And you are damn right we give up 20 points/game and just like you said that is without a defense. We don't play with defense. We are that good. We win without playing defense. Really? I would have thought that UNA would have hosted for certain had WSU won yesterday. Not only because they were a higher seed, but they can seat many more people (right?) at their field and god forbid a northern team have an advantage due to the weather. Did anyone else think the officiating sucked yesterday? Especially on that halo violation call. The Winona player misjudged the punt and had to step back towards the UND player. This didn't effect his opportunity to catch the ball though and he ended up dropping it. UND recovers, but because of the stupid penalty, it resulted in a re-kick. I thought that rule was changed this year, so that something like this was not a penalty because it doesn't effect the outcome of the play. Whooptee doo though I guess.

Montoya would be a nice goalie to have, but so what. Brandt is doing better than him so far this year. It would also be nice to have Vanek and Ryan Suter, etc. Oh well. Did anyone else see during the MN-MSU game woog was saying that UND's galtending still isn't all that proven. Umm, huh? What exactly does Jake have to do to prove himself to Woog? Doesn't matter, just wondering. I think the Gophers are back. Ballard returning helped them a great deal.

Winona is alot better than I thought they'd be. Their mascot is a total dork though. He was doing all these hand signals and stuff. He was always pointing at this white as bread, shaven legs. Not sure why. Also he was hitting on forecheck and her friends. What would The Wookie say?

Someone said that assuming UND and North Alabama win, UND could host because it would be unfair for North Alabama to host the semifinal game and then the NC game. Probably not true, just saying.

Whatever happened to putting the words to the School song on the scoreboard? The first year at the new arena, when we were trying to figure things out, REA people said they'd do this. They never did though. I'd think this would be a good thing as there are many students (and I'm sure other people) who don't know the words. And it can't be very hard to do.

Call me crazy but if I was brining in a recruit last week to Ann Arbor, I wouldn't have brought him to a BB game. I'd have brought him to The Big House for the OSU-UM football game.
