  1. Wish they would've. EGF would've won the state title in FB and hockey my senior year being lead by Palmo.
  2. On the unintentional comedy scale of 1 to 10, this one is a 15. Ask Redwing77, he'll give you a good analysis of Mapletoft.
  3. Unless you are talking about one WCHA and one title, you should say title. Because he sure wouldn't have been here for more than a year, therefore it would only be possible to get one title.
  4. Yeah, Gretzky signed with the Indianapolis Racers(?). Shortly after signing, the Racers folded and the Oilers purchased Gretzky or something like that. Then Edmonton and some of the other WHL teams were later absorbed by the NHL. If he would've been drafted, he would've went pretty darn high even if he was considered small. (150 lbs. soaking wet and you probably could've found some women in the arena who could beat him up. - Barry Mulletrose )
  5. Thats terrible. Maybe it doesn't include student tickets though or something.
  6. No doubt. We want a preview. PREVIEW! PREVIEW! PREVIEW!
  7. Well obviously YaneA or someone else would make the sign, so it wouldn't be too much work for me. I admit I'm lazy. Perhaps we could have little paper dolls of Mr. Kaasa where he can be dressed in all the various dresses, skirts, pumps and heels that he owns.
  8. We need to make a sign: "Get a Life, Benjamin Kaasa" or something like that.
  9. NorthStar has to wear velcro shoes because he hasn't learned how to tie laces yet. He couldn't explain how a rubber band works, much less explain what you said.
  10. Oh I know what you meant. I was just saying she might enjoy it, at least for awhile, because she would get to do all the talking and annoying and so on and so forth.
  11. What are you talking about? Of course a woman would like that. That way she could babble on all day and he couldn't interupt her. He'd be forced to listen to her nonsensical rantings.
  12. That fight he got in last spring was pretty good. He had his fro back and he just kept slamming the guy into the boards. Very nice.
  13. God, I hope not.
  14. That would be Brian "The Giraffe" Gaffney. If you liked that fight, you should've seen his fight with Alex Brooks of Wisconsin. Mike broke his face.
  15. Respond to what he says. Call him a weenie knuckle headed sissy boy. Cite the stuff that beersong added and how big of a tool he is.
  16. You sound like a guy pimpin Disco in 1982.
  17. I'm dead set against cooperation. I hope others will agree and work with me on this stance.
  18. Shouldn't you treat this one different then you treat all the other issues of the Stupid though?
  19. OK, his buddy sits in the student section and obviously must be wearing something that tips people off that he isn't a Sioux fan. Then he gets mad because he and his buddy are taunted? Huh? What does he expect? A hug, a kiss and well wishes? He can have his opinion on swearing and so on and I won't fault him for that, but to believe that his buddy can sit in the UND student section with Gopher crap on and not be picked on is idiotic. The same thing would happen in any other arena around the country in any other sport.
  20. Once again PCM you are trying to using logic when logic is the last thing UND does in these sorts of situations.
  21. Well I had to do my one whine of the week. Now I'm done. It would be nice if other students were there during warmups. It'd also be nic eif they'd stop playing music! Also I'm still a student, barely though.
  22. What about SMU? That has to be a death trap of a program. Ever since the mid 80's (?) when they got the death penalty they have been wretched and horrible. Maybe Minnesota will fire Mason and Lenon will take over the job.
  23. Notice I changed it to we were treated relatively well, but you saw it in time. Dangit!!! I agree that sitting here and whining won't solve anything. However, I'm not sure how much going and talking to REA or Roger Thomas will help either. When this whole fiasco started, we did that and did what was asked of us for the first season and we asked for certain things in return. We didn't really get these things. People weren't happy with us standing at the beginning and they made their voices heard. So meetings were set up and everyone was invited to say how they felt about the situation. The first meeting was 50/50 public/students. After this first meeting though, it became all students. It was like the people who had the problem didn't have the time to help find a solution. So the students were left to work it out with Thomas and the AD. I guess this was destined to failure to some point since one side was missing. We went ahead anyways though and came to an agreement that students would do this and the public would do this. The students did what was agreed upon, sit during most of the game stand during PP. The public however didn't. For whatever reason. You can say that it takes time and that is true. But I didn't see much effort on the part of the public. Maybe because we or the AD didn't explain what the deal was very well. Either way, it didn't work out as well as planned. Maybe as a result of this, last year things went backwards. That is mostly the students fault. So again, I agree that we should plan and do something but there is still that feeling among many students that it won't do any good. It will be the same thing all over again, we'll get a pat on the back and they'll say it will be done. It won't though. Whether this is accurate or not, many students feel this way. If only UND played games constantly, there wouldn't be these problems. Because when the game is being played, there aren't any problems. How come it isn't this easy to write papers? I could blabber on forever about this, yet papers are suck.
  24. You know maybe we are whining, but it sure seems like the students who have to put up with every hassle. The students have to wait in line because other people come to "our" entrance (other people do too). The students have to sit all the time or risk getting yelled at and kicked out. The students are always threatened with having their season tickets taken away. The students get letters saying we aren't being good boys and girls. The students get signs taken away (other people do too). The students are always frisked. It is just that it seems like some people don't want us there. I love UND hockey, but it is just so frustrating sometimes with all that crap it seems we have to put up with. We do everything that is asked of us and get very little thanks from REA and Co. The only thing we get is negative feedback. It isn't just the waiting in line to get into the game. It is one thing on top of another on top of another. It gets damn tiresome. We were treated relatively well at the old arena, at the new arena we are just a piece of sh^t. Excuse my language.
  25. Think how grumpy we'll all be when we hit our 60's. We come here and p^ss and moan about all sorts of stuff. What will happen if this kind of stuff happens when were old farts...like PCM? Maybe if they made the UND women's hockey players the security guards, we'd be happier with being groped. I also get there an hour or so before the game. It makes it so I don't have to wait too long, but I still have to wait because non-students are in front of me.
