It is going to be sad when Santa appears next week again and will undoubtedly be booed by the students. Then again for that stupid Vanek somment, he deserves it.

I know UND is chartering something for the trip for fans. They were handing out stuff after the game. I didn't get one though cause I'm poor and couldn't afford to go anyways. The you won't have to deal with Northworst.

There were about 10,000 people I believe. I'm almost glad there weren't more people there because it was loud. If it would've been full, I think my eardrums may have broke. The students were louder than usual, but the difference was the regular people. They did a helluva job. They were on their feet alot, not just on 3rd down. UNA did a pretty good job of handling it though, they only had one (shoulda had two) delay of game penalties.

The defense was un-freaking-believable in the first half. They absolutely dominated. Then they only followed that up with a very, very good second half. The best they have played since the last semifinal game. This was far and away the best game UND has played all year. The special teams were great, the offense was great, the defense was beyond great. I've got a huge headache for the 3rd week in a row. Oh well.

There are too rules. Unwritten rules, but they are still rules. If you get hit by a puck and it wasn't because you are a moron who wasn't paying attention, you get the puck. People need to learn this rule. I don't want to have to beat it into them. Who am I kidding, yes I do. Lundbohm, Hale, Palmoscno, Brandt, Smaby all sat off the top of my head.

They'll be so effected that they'll get back on their Miami Air(?) plane and fly back to Florence rather than play the game.

There better be. If we could get it as loud as the UCD game was, it would be great. UNA would probably have at least 5 false starts jsut because of that.

Bisonfan1234, people don't care a whole lot about most sports outside of FB, baseball and basketball. No one really cares about D IAA football either. Also if the Gophers are always winning, why does Michigan have more titles, nevermind that other team? UND survived and thrived on Canadian talent until recently. Now they seem to be moving more towards American, not just Minnesota, talent. To say that Minnesota is the only state that produces hockey talent is like saying Texas is the only state that produces football talent. Michigan, Massachusetts, Colorado, Illinois, Alaska and yes North Dakota, among others, produce plenty of talent. Also as far as UND making alot of money off of hockey, that is true. But when it comes to the national tournament, do you know how much of the money UND gets? $0. This is because they are D2 in other sports, so the NC$$ does realize this, wouldn't you think?

DHG doesn't know how to play a fiddle. You may think he was being sarcastic, but like many other words he can't even spell it. Add to it that he has pickled his brain with Windsor and he was completely serious. He is utterly jealous of UND and everything surronding it. Because of this he has to wear stupid costumes to games to try to draw attention away from his utter idiocy.

That's just wonderful. I am pleased as punch to hear that. Have a cookie. That doesn't mean that UND shouldn't be allowed to play DI hockey though.

But it isn't the real D1 by your own definition. They aren't in the same division as Minnesota, Michigan, Miami, etc. By your own definition, NDSU should have to play in the same division as these teams in FB. You can't say it's OK for NDSU, but isn't ok for UND. Whether it is one sport with the big schools or one sport without the big schools doesn't matter. You are changing your view based on what would benefit NDSU.
