Sheppard made the right call. My only problem is that he waited for 119 minutes and 45 seconds to make his first right call. Why did he have to start then?

The Gopher slash with 3 minutes left is what really annoyed me. If that was a slash on Genoway, it sure was a slash on Ballard (?). He brought his stick up to his shoulders to make the slash. Whatever though. To expect consistant officiating is a pipe dream. For the Bochenski spear, how did Sheppard miss it? He saw the Genoway slash that was right next to the Taylor spear. Was he 50% blind or what? Whether or not Bochenski was diving all over the ice, a spear is a spear and Sheppard had to have seen it.

I wouldn't be too nervous about next weeks game. Mankato played absolutely terrible. The Gophers are playing very well, but the Mavs looked like crap all weekend. UND is playing well right now too and you know they'll be up and ready for the games. UAA is up 5-3 after the 2nd

If UND can somehow sweep the Gophers, I would be very very angry. Mainly because I can't be at the games. A split would be fine, 3 points would be great, a sweep would make me happy for a month,

UND is 12-0-2 and Minnesota should be 11-1-2 in their last 14 games barring the Gophers completely choking away the game tonight. I wish I could go to the games.
