Let's get 2 more points tomorrow night and solidify our claim on the MacNaughton and put the Gophers in good shape to get a first round playoff game against Denver or CC. I was at Bullwinkles tonight with about 15 of the Sioux faithful and we rocked the house with the school song after each goal!!!! 6 out of 6 points against the Gophers this year is FANTASTIC. If we can play any better tomorrow night, I like our chances, but the Goophers might be in desperation mode, considering the standings. #1 Bochenski #2 Parise #3 fill in the blank (Al Montoya?) (that dude from Brown?) If someone from Alabama-Huntsville wins the Hobey, Hobey Baker himself would start spinning in his grave. Sioux @ Alabama-Huntsville next year - Sounds like a road trip to me.

Since it looks like the NHL faces a lockout or a strike after this season, will this affect Parise, Bochenski, or other drafted underclassmen leaving after this season. If there is no NHL season will the AHL or other minor leagues go on hiatus as well. This could be good for us, just as long as Vanek gets deported.

Shepherd or no Shepherd, if the Sioux don't take too many penalties, or if they decide to start scoring on the power play on a regular basis, I expect 3 or 4 points this weekend. I live in the cities and have had to put up with seeing the Goophs win 2 in a row in person, so I'm ready for some revenge.
