They aren't real friends if they question you for not wanting to go out when the Sioux play. Especially since they are probably Gopher fans. There is plenty of time to go out after the game.

I don't disagree. I don't think UND played very well either. It jsut seems strange to be unhappy about a game that was dominated and easily won by the Sioux. Hopefully they play a better game tommorow.

UND pretty much dominates the game and wins 8-4, yet they really didn't play that great and Blais isn't real happy. That just seems weird.

The big, bald cop came out once to check on us or something I guess while we were waiting to get for a Gopher game. As he was arriving he yelled, "Oh no here comes the cop! Hide your beer!" He became my favorite cop ever with that. I think it was the saturday game of 99-00, because I remember it being the coldest I have ever been. Freaking nearly unbearable when you are on a couch (the same one that got burned a year later ) under 4 blankets and still freezing. Though we had about ten 24 packs along with various other things as foot rests while on the couch. That was a plus. Also the exploding gopher in 99 was pretty nice.

I was 3 for 3 on Spring break of getting in trouble at the old Ralph. Freshman year I got kicked out by a stupid security guard. Sophmore year I nearly got kicked out because I explained tripping to Robin Anderson and he didn't like it. Stupid catepillar lipped buffoon. Junior year, I busted open one of the seams on the glass. I never got in trouble other than during Spring Break. My favorite memory is 01Grad falling all the way down the steps and bloodying his hand up good. Funniest thing I ever saw, cause he wasn't seriously injured. Then of course there was the students weekly breaking of the door. You think they would've wised up or something.

Are you serious about the hat thing? I don't neccessarily think students have to be able to stand the whole game for there to be a great atmsphere. I do think that the students need to feel welcome and appreciated though. Right now the percieved attitude is neutral to disdain for students. When REA stops listening to the 1% of whiners, things will get better. But if they keep pulling the crap that they did for the Gopher series, the students will remain ticked off and feel like they aren't wanted.

Or you just go to to the arena in the morning, before you had to stand in line for 6 hours, to "run". Thast's when you brought in the gophers and the flasks. Just tape them to the bottom of the seat you were going to be in.

You forgot the two best things! 1. The drunk guy without a shirt dancing on the heating vent. That was classic. 2. And of course, smoking those dirty rodents out of their locker room. Poor 01Grad. I can still see him clutching to the one couch coshin, watching in fear as the couch went up in flames.

The first UAA goal was because of Smaby and Greene penalties. I don't know about the one on Greene, but Smaby didn't do anything. He simply got burned after misplaying the puck. The second UAA goal was offsides. Parise should've had it though. Parise getting high-sticked and drawing blood, wasn't a penalty. It was a holding call that happened 10 seconds later. Had Mason called the high-sticking it would've been a double minor for drawing blood. But of course, he didn't. Geez. UND will stay #1 because they didn't lose.
