I think I remember a penny being on the ice at a game like 2 or 3 years ago. Don't remember if it was against Wisconsin though and I don't remember how it got there. It wasn't during warmups though, I don't think. Also I think the reason the students were spitting in the penalty box was because MacMurchy had thrown the water bottle at them. Both are idiots, though MacMurchy throwing the bottle is funny to me.

The reason the student section was so empty was because of the people who ended up gettin season tickets. They don't come to any games ever. There are also some people who are still bitter that they didn't get season tickets, so they aren't coming to games either. I think both of these people are dopes, but what are you going to do?

The UAA thread wasn't a good example. I guess I was just speaking generally. People just get too negative here. Last weekend notwithstanding cause it was deserved.

I like the bipolarness (probably not even a word) of this thread when you compare it to the UAA thread. UND has a bad weekend and people are like lemmings, looking for the Cliffs of Dover to jump off of. UND has a very good weekend and everybody is happy as a clam and crapping out flowers.

North Dakota State Hockey Tournament. Why UND has a home series the same weekend as the Tournament, God only knows. Somebody screwed up. I blame Greg Sheppard!

Forecheck brings up a good point here,

1. I am currently working with Joel Maturi and Barry Alvarez to make sure this never happens. I have been assured that when I am made AD, there will be no Big Ten hockey conference. I've also been told that should forecheck be made AD, both Wisconsin and Minnesota will leave the WCHA, even if there is no Big Ten Hockey Conference. 2. I will go above and beyond that. I will have every uniform the Sioux have ever worn included in the game because UND fans deserve it. 3. Of course. Not only that, he'll also be paid for his hard work and he'll be given first opportunity to interview whomever he wants. Above Hennesy and Mr. UND Hockey himself, Virg Foss. I have already said all I need is Schneider's road jersey from last year, forecheck has made no such statement. Do you want to have to pay her some astronomical sum just so she can pay her rent? I am appalled at this blatant attempt of character assasination perpetrated by my opponent. I simply speak the truth and my opponent choses to make up lies, fabrications and general tomfoolery in response. I'd say I'm dissappointed, but I'd be lying. I knew this would happen when I made my application public. This is just what happens when there is such a mismatch in qualifications. I accept this and move on. forecheck knows that she will not be given this job as she is clearly not qualifed to hand out putters at a mini-golf course, much less be the head of a large and growing University. Notice how instead of addressing the concerns raised by many, forecheck creates a false press release in a feable attempt to deflect criticism. I do not need to find the press release about how she was involved in the Canisius debacle, as she has all but admitted it publicly. Lets not even bring up how forecheck thought she was too big for her volunteer job at the WJC. Yelling and screaming in the press box, "losing" tournament-issued apparel, not being at her post on numerous occasions, etc. And then of course there is the NIck Fuhrer/Hunk of meat incident of two years ago. forecheck is her own worst enemy. Would you want a person who lacks as many morals as she does to be leading young men and women? I think not. p.s. How forecheck can be the hometown hero when she is not from anyone's hometown, no one knows. Blue Jays are retarded.

It's almost not worth it anymore to try to sneak in a flask or something. While 25 years ago, they would've taken it from you and kicked you out of the game, now they'll take it, arrest you, kick you out of the game and invalidate your ID. That's another thing I'll do when I'm made AD. I'll hand out flasks to the students when they come to games. No flask, no getting into the game.

I'm just estatic that I'll have the opportunity to work under him."

DH: Why yes he would. I've talked to him and he has many ideas. 1. Rip the leather seats out of the student section and replace them with bench seats with spikes in them so students can't sit down. 2. Get rid of the warmup music so students can yell at people. I think this is a great idea. 3. Gonna lower taco in a bag to pre-WWII level prices 4. Kick people out for complaining about others cheering and keeping their money. 5. Fire the renta-*beep* that grops all students no matter their gender and who stole his 1 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper at the WJC. He still hasn't forgotten or forgiven that old hag. 6. Give away decent stuff like they used to instead of these SI for Kid ripoff tear apart trading cards. 7. Hand out cards to every seat in section 116 and 101 for every game that when all held up together say "Hey forecheck, what number is Gretzky?" 8. Throw students out who are stupid/look like jacka$$es at the games, excluding himself. He is exempt. Old people suck, we need new blood to force the crowd into games. Having stick in the muds hasn't worked, so I say we go with Diggler. Sure he nearly got kicked out of the saturday Denver game, but he entertained and that is what's important.
