If UND is way up with a minute to play and Matt Greene isn't going to be back next year, I would love to see him beat the tar out of Paukovich. Matt hasn't laid the smack down in his three years at UND. If this was his last game, why not? He could get a picture taken of himself with the NC trophy in one hand and Geoff's tibia in the other.

Dubay knows what he is talking about and has a pretty good grasp on college hockey. You have to realize that 75% of what he says about the Sioux, he says to try to irritate UND fans.

Greener & Co. will be too busy plowing Gophers into next season to worry about clutching or grabbing anyone.

What if you added a luggage rack or some other sort of extension to the van? Could you drink on the luggage rack? Or how about just driving a giant keg?

While he may deserve it, I don't think he has a chance even if UND wins the NC. When a school like UND finishes in 5th place in the WCHA, no matter how tough the WCHA is, the coach will never win an award. Perhaps if he was coaching at UAA or Mankato and did the same thing, he'd have a chance. But when you are at UND, I think you almost have to win the WCHA and the NC, or at least be close to both, to win the Penrose. It's expected of UND to contend for both. I think it's between Owens and Gwoz.

UND got screwed. Having to beat two Boston schools in Boston to make the Frozen Four.

No, they're a #2 seed. It's all fancy math and after all of it is calculated, UND is the #7 team overall. Being there are four regions, that makes the Sioux a #2 seed.

Cornell just won 3-1. Yes, UND has a #2 seed wrapped up. Also UND, OSU, UNH and Harvard will remain the same overall seed no matter who wins the WCHA championship. Nevermind my last post. I'm not sure what Lucia was talking about in needing DU to lose as it looks like to me that if DU wins, the Gophers get a #1 seed. If CC wins, Cornell gets a #1 seed. Maybe I misunderstood what Lucia supposedly said.

If all the games stay as they are currently and the matchups go strictly on seeding, UND would play OSU I think with UNH and Harvard playing each other.
