Kind of strange to see BYU considered a "mid-major" now.

I believe the UND Alumni Association commissioned and paid Brien to come up with the new logo. -
Here are plenty of articles and stats to keep you busy.

Couldn't big win be in reference to the score margin?

Here we go boys & girls...Throw Muss a bone & vote!!&#

We could start a thread in the hockey section and tell people it is a contest to vote on who has the coolest hockey jerseys. UND would be in 1st place in no time. -
They can't attend the games in Grand Forks? And since when did IUPUI and Missourri State become well known names in Minnesota and Wisconsin?

My hometown high scool on the ND/MT boarder has doubled it's enrollment in under 4 years. And the town's population has almost tripled. And this is in a community that is a good 50 minute drive to where the real oil boom is going on. .

I still throw up in my mouth when I remember that SCSU is joining the NCHC. But Minnesota State wouldn't be a bad option to add to a conference. They have a great basketball/volleyball arena and indoor T&F facilities. Their FB stadium isn't great but would fit in the FCS. I could see them working with the Vikings to upgrade their football stadium a bit since the Vikes hold their training camp at MSU. I would be perfectly happy if it was announced that Minnesota State would be the next full member of the Big Sky and Idaho and Boise State would be joining as non-football members.

I get a good chuckle every time a NDSUAAS fan makes a comment like this. It is amazing what spite will make people do or say. I was discussing this with a friend the other day. Since BSU has been mentioned as a possible football only member of the Big East, they would have to put their other sports somewhere. At this point, the BSC has to be a better option than the new southern WAC. I see Utah State ending up in the MWC in the near future. Idaho doesn't want to swallow its pride and move back to FCS, not with the success that "little brother" Boise State is having in FBS football. The Big Sky is currently at 11 all-sport members and 13 football members. So let's offer UI and BSU non-football membership. BSU can go Big East and Idaho can stay WAC in football. That would put the BSC at 13 across the board. It still leaves room to go after 1 or 3 more all-sports members down the road.

With Hawaii being the attendance leader in the NCAA going back into the 90's, the WAC will drop WAY down in the conference standings when UH moves to the Big West and the Big West will shoot up alot higher. If UND continues to put the proper resources into volleyball, there is no reason that we couldn't annually be a top 25 team both on the court and and in attendance. Volleyball could turn into a big sports at UND. And volleyball is the type of sport that we can recruit local midwest/north central players and be successful at the national level.

When I saw the score last night I thought it was a typo and was supposed to be a 1-1 tie. Nope. Amazing win by the ladies on Homecoming weekend. Finish off the sweep tonight.

Come on people, it takes 20 seconds to do. Let's support our football team and coahes a little bit. -
UVm 1 UND 4 FINAL! UND had 2 of its 4 goals reviewed and called good.

Sometimes the truth hurts. Wow. you may want to do some of your own research before making statements like this. I would check into the world leading research that the EERC is doing on renewable energy sources, the ground breaking degrees and research the School of Aerospace is doing with UAVs, and the top rated family and rural medicine doctors that UND's Med School is producing. Just a place or three to start. Again, under what basis should all NDUS schools be funded equally?

UVm 1 UND 2 End of 2nd.

Flagship: a single item from a related group considered as the most important; the best or most important one of a group or system UND is the flagship university. That makes NDSU the garbage barge. And it is bison fans who have been dwelling over the enrollment numbers of the 2 schools, trying to find any excuse to discredit UND's enrollment. As I'm sure you have been told many times before, it is not the size that matters. It is the quality.
