Who should we root for this weekend? Seems like a pretty obvious answer to me. The University of North Dakota. Can we please focus on our own football team for 1 day?

I have a feeling that we are going to see a pretty darn good bump in our basketball attendance this year. Just a hunch.

In case anybody doesn't know, we do have a football game today. And it isn't against NDSU or Minnesota. And our volleyball team has 2 games today too.

Seriously, do we need to pull a lakesbison and start an email campaign to keep a school out of our league?

Growing up in western NoDak I loosely followed UND football and hockey. But by no means was I a die-hard fan. Once I got into high school and began looking at colleges, UND and UMary were the only schools that I was even interested in. About this time, my next door neighbor Hunter Berg began playing basketball for UND. At that point I started following all of the Sioux programs closely and made my choice to attend UND. I will now forever be a North Dakota fan till the day I die. I do remember being very small and watching a UND/NDSU football game at my grandmother's house. I don't know why but I decided that I was going to cheer for UND and I remember jumping around on her couch (or davenport as she always called couches) cheering for the Sioux.

If only we could go back in time and make sure that happened. It would have been nice. And I have never figured out why NDSU fans have this idea that UND and NDSU need to be funded exactly equal.

Don't forget their mythical national championships their fans have declared since moving to DI FCS.

I would disagree with that. But I guess we'll never know.

No thanks. He was the biggest pusher behind the scenes for going DI and then bailed when he got what he wanted. We need to be looking towards UMD for our next coach.

EWU 17 USD 30 Final. Surprising score. The teams almost got into a brawl at center field after the game.

Southern Utah beats Sacranto State 35-14.

USD is up 21-7 over EWU just into the 3rd.

Colorado State beats Northern Colorado 33-14. SUU leads Sac 28-14 in the third. UM leads Cal Poly 21-20 in the third. MSU leads Davis 28-7 in the third.

The live stats against San Jose State show that UND swept SJSU in their 2nd match of the day with scores of (25-19, 25-22, 25-21). Nice way to rebound off of a loss.

Please elaborate on all of these differences. I'm failing to see how UI is not a peer school of UND.

How is that a diss to Idaho? University of Idaho enrollment: 11,957 US News ranking: 153 Law school University of North Dakota enrollment: 14,194 US News ranking: 159 Law school, Medical school, top-ranked aerospace program About the only difference is that they have a cow college and instead we have a med school and an aerospace school.
