UVU scored the AND-1 to pull ahead by 1 with 7.8 seconds. Mitchel hit a last second shot for the UND win. Utah Valley claimed the shot was off after the buzzer but the refs called it good as they had no way to review it. Crazy, crazy finish. It is about time that one of these close, crazy games finally goes our way. UVU 56 UND 57 FINAL! I get ESPN ScoreCenter game updates sent to my phone. They sent out the final as UVU winning right after the free throw. Woops.

Utah Valley just tied the game at 55 and was fouled on the shot so they are going to the free-throw line for the lead. 7.8 seconds left.

The last 8 minutes of the game have been pretty ugly by both teams. UND hasn't scored in 2 minutes, UVU hasn't scored in over 4 minutes. UVU 45 UND 52 4:00 left in 2nd.

Final Face-Off UM Duluth 3 Wisconsin 1 North Dakota 0 Minnesota 6 A pretty tough showing by the ladies. It is hard to swallow such a big loss. Duluth on the other hand pulled off a pretty good upset.

They don't. Fullerton has said multiple times that they don't have an issue with the nickname, they have an issue with UND being under sanctions from the NCAA. But of course you are going to twist things to fit your point-of-view.

Considering the situation that the WAC is in, I would think they might be more open to the Sun Belt.

Grenora actually now plays in the Montana high school league. But their enrollment K-12 has basically doubled in the last few years due to the oil boom and the Wildrose-Alamo school closing. In another year or two I expect them to be back playing in North Dakota.
