GF Herald: Expect buzzer-beaters in Great West tourney Basically everything that we have been discussing on here for a while. The team has played pretty good defense lately. And when the offense plays as a team and moves the ball well, the team can have alot of success.

Is anyone going to the game on Saturday? Ther are a couple of us thinking of driving down on Saturday morning.

Very fun game to watch. It was pretty evenly matched until Montana kicked it up in the 2nd to pull away.

So far this has been a very well played game by both teams.

Not to turn this into a Sioux nickname thread but I just noticed something interesting. I have always thought that UND put a little too much emphasis on the Sioux name and not enough on the university's name when it came to athletics. Looking at the team photo of the other teams in the tournament, every single one of them has their school name or initials, not their mascot or nickname.

That is very classless of them. These ladies worked hard to reach the tournament, they deserve the same recognition as all of the other teams.

UND will be hosting a pre-game social from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Stub and Herbs (227 SE Oak St., Minneapolis, Minn., 55455). Game time is at 4. Hopefully a good amount of NoDak fans will be at the game.

The students who showed up to the basketball game were given priority line tickets to get into the hockey game first. Smart thinking by the athletic department and NoDak Nation. Hopefully winning in such an exciting fashion makes them want to come to more games this fall.

All of the bubble teams had to have been pretty happy when Murray State scored a last second shot to beat Tenn State. Murray State would have made the tourney either way. I'm guessing their conference commissioner was cheering for Tenn State though as it would have given the OVC 2 teams in the tourney.
