Michigan's first-year varsity men's lacrosse team will take on their traditional rival Ohio State for the first time in lacrosse at 1:30 today in the Big House. For anyone who wants to catch the game, it is being broadcast on the B1G Network.

If anyone hasn't caught all of the coverage of spring football, you can go here and check out all of the "Think Big" articles and videos.

Black out? I like. Cal Poly kind of got the shaft as they are the only school not to have a game broadcast, otherwise every other school is on at least once. Montana with 7 games, Montana State with 6 games and EWU with 2 games are the only schools to have more than 1 game. As for the times of our home games, I am happy to see only one game with a 1:00 kickoff. Aug. 30 SD School of Mines 7 p.m. Sept. 8 Portland State 6 p.m. Sept. 29 Cal Poly 6 p.m. Oct. 13 Northern Arizona 3 p.m. Oct. 20 Montana 2:30 p.m. Nov. 3 Southern Utah 1 p.m.

So what is the connection that we are suddenly recruiting Illinois so much?

NCHC schedule possibilities for 2013-14 and beyond
dakotadan replied to Dave Berger's topic in Men's Hockey
Not to sound like an arrogant Gopher fan that thinks they are better than everyone else, but the SCSU athletic department is a joke. Their football team has been on the verge of being cut for financial reasons for the last few years. They voted a man as their Homecoming Queen and then dumped Homecoming Week because they could not afford it and nobody showed up. They have no NCAA hockey playoff history or success at all. A cash strapped DII school with no tradition that nobody outside of this region has heard of. Why exactly were they brought into the NCHC? The whole point of leaving the WCHA and forming the NCHC was to have the most successful, visible schools with each other. I, for the life of me, am unable to see how SCSU even remotely fits in with this motive. Instead of Notre Dame we settled for SCSU and a crappy TV contract. -
GFHerald: Not Far Away I absolutely love coach Idalski's attitude and approach to the program. There are some amazing stats about this season in the article. Be sure to check it out.

Pacific to join WCC That will give the WCC ten members and the Big West ten members.

So you like my signature? I think it is extremely impressive, too. Not comparing UND to the other schools as much as pointing out the humor in NDSU fans referring to NDSU, SDSU and USD as the Dakota Big 3. And I can't wait for UND to establish itself in the Big Sky with similar winning records over Big Sky schools. And with what has happened with other conferences, the Big Sky looks to be one of the most stable conferences in DI right now.

NCAA letter to South Dakota on transition....where is UND's?
dakotadan replied to darell1976's topic in NCAA News
Well if you go to UND's page on the NCAA website right here half of our sports are DI, half are DII, our football team is an independent but our baseball and softball teams plays in the Great West FOOTBALL Conference, our women's basketball team plays in the University of North Dakota Conference, and our hockey teams play in the ECAC. Wow. -
http://www.fightingsioux.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=205404194 Well the team will get 2 more home games this season. Hopefully the weather holds out and a decent crowd shows up to support the team.

Mountain West - CUSA merger not likely to happen. Looks like they will settle for a scheduling agreement in football. http://collegesportsinfo.com/2012/03/26/no-all-sports-merger-for-cusamountain/

The guys are definately out of gas. Not much of a spark left in them.
-
So has anyone heard anything more about a possible announcement on the IPF coming in the next week or so?
-
I believe they just said we have outshot Minnie 16-1 in the third!
-
It looks like the guys were able to catch their breath a little bit during the intermission. Playing better so far but still need to kick it up another notch. It is funny that the UM campus is across the river from the X but that the announcers keep talking about Minnesota needing to keep the fans out of the game. Alot of green in that crowd.
-
We have a heartbeat.
-
The guys look dead tonight. No spark at all. Coach just called a time out. Time to get our heads and our hearts into the game guys.

Montana 49 Wisconsin 73 Final. I kind of expected the Griz to give them a bit more trouble.
-
Montana 29 Wisconsin 39 Half
-
Wasn't Wisconsin upset as a 4 seed last year? Or the year before? It would be great for the Big Sky if Montana could pull off the upset.
-
Leave the facts at the door. It is more fun to continuously try and blame Faison and Kelley for everything bad in the world.
-
That isn't very likely to happen. Minnesota is in the east region with Holy Cross.
