I was really praying that they got into the tourney, they deserved it. However, it was still a great season! Congratulations ladies, there is always next year.

The Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni Association had an event there. They rented out the restaurant for all of the alumni in the area and watched the Sioux game.

We better hope that the student section has a good showing and makes twice as much noice. The regular ticket holders will not show up for this game. It just means that those of us who are there have to make twice as much noise!!!

All I can say is that I am highly disapointed. Not the news that I wanted to hear.

I went to the last V-ball game tonight and have quite a few statements about the arena. First of all, I have said that I thought it should be bigger. The sides are plenty big but the end seating could have been much bigger, and like I said before, if it comes to it, UND can add larger seating at the ends. I understand it was a v-ball game but the end seating just looks like it is sitting in the middle of no-where from the main stands. The Fighting Sioux "Club" on the main side takes up alot more room than it really needs to. They could have added many seats in that area. The place is very nice looking but I seriously it could have been planned out alot better. But considering they only plan on playing one or two games there for basketball who should give a !@$!? Aparrently even though the Betty is the new basketball arena, no basketball games of importance will be played there!!!!!!!

Anyone who thinks that UND's less than perfect record is Hakstol's fault must have been dumb enough to vote for Bush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THe rankings for this week just came out and UND is at #6, GVSU #7, and USD #8. UND better win on saturday.

As a student I would have no problem with the student section being in one of the corners. Place the students behind the goal that the Sioux attack at twice and let us get into the head of the opposing goalie. If that were to happen, REA woould be able to sell more center ice tickets making them more money, and it would solve most of the standing issues. REA would be happy with the extra bucks and the students could stand when they wanted to. We need to get this issue solved soon because the longer it goes on the more people that are getting upset.

Aparently you people don't understand how much the band here actually does practice. To be in the hockey band you are required to be in the football marching band. The practices are every Mon, Wed, and Fri. from 4:00 to just before 6:00. Also, every morning before football games. The band is usually at the Al by 9AM and there until after the football game. After the game is over they play a few songs for the fans afterwards. usually get out of there around 4:30. This weekend for example, the band is practicing on friday from 4-6 and will then have to rush over to the Ralph for the hockey game. Saturday morning they will arive at the Al before 9 and be there till well after 4-5. THey will then rush back over to the Ralph for the second Gopher/SIoux game. This is alot of time spent playing an instrument. I think this band needs some serious due credit.
