Not a good way to start out the weekend. Hopefully the guys turn things around real quick and correct this.

How about they hire someone with DI experience?

$crew the Betty!! I drove an hour in a winter blizzard to go to the basketball games with a college roommate of mine that is in town for the week. When we got to the game they made us park in front of the Ralph and walk all of the way around to the SC in the blizzard, just to get to the door and them tell us there weren't any tickets left. 3,000 people a sell-out, sad. They should move back to the Hyslop if nothing else. In case anyone hasn't noticed, I'm pissed. The hour long drive back home in the blizzard while listening to the games on the radio was alot of fun.

What station is it on?

I'm not talking in the sence of the schools appealing together to get off of the list, I am talking in the sence that all schools involved should go after the policy itself and the legality of it. UND seems to already have a pretty strong case put together. All that would need to be done is get all of the University Presidents and Athletic Directors of the schools involved to agree to sign 1 joint appeal and present it to the NCAA.

So they want to change their Hostile and Abusive name to another just as much or possibly even more Hostile and Abusive name?!?!

I thought that they were opening a red pepper at the Valley Dairy across from the Alerus Center. I have also heard that they are opening a Red Pepper in Crookston very soon.

I take it that they read through UND's latest appeal before they wrote theirs. I think that all schools involved should just issue one joint appeal about the implementation of this policy in general. Instead of everyone appealing to get off of the list, let's just get the whole list thrown in the garbage. Strength in numbers.

If I'm not mistaken I think the city has plans to add ramps to the interstate at 17th by the Alerus in the future. I have also seen other people mention it on here before. But I would also like to see more ramps connecting South Columbia Rd to the interstate. I think the main roads out there are 40th, 46th, and probably even go as far out as 62nd Ave. This would help with all of the development that will most likely take place on South Columbia in the next 10 years.

So the students are the only ones who are ever supposed to compromise?

Why not? I'll say it. Come on people, Furman is a DI team. At least NDSU isn't losing to Mayville and Minot State. The Bison had the balls to move up and to date, UND hasn't. Apparently we're content in the VERY watered down ranks of DII. If people think our schedules have been rather disappointing this year, wait and see what will likely happen in the next couple of years. The NSIC is adding 2 more teams this next year. That means less out of conference games for them. Considering that the NCC schools are having trouble scheduling the way it is, what are they going to do after this? Are we going to see EVEN MORE DAC teams on our schedules? And considering that many DAC teams or possibly even the conference as a whole is looking at moving to DII, I am sure that UND would be very willing to help them with games during their transition. Or maybe Minot State and Dickinson State would be interested in joining the NCC. Not a very exciting future if you ask me.

Grand Forks is getting a Erbert & Gerbert's sub shop but I haven't heard where it is going yet.

I am always sitting around thinking about things I would like to see done in Grand Forks. I thought it would be fun to start a thread and see what everyone else would like to see done in the Grand Cities. This could be stores/restaurants you want to come to town, community services you would like to see offered, construction, new roads, developments, etc. Basically, if you were the Mayor of Grand Forks, tell us what you would do?

After a sad weekend, I am going over to some friends house to teach them how to play beer pong. At least the ladies finally won today!!

We are giving them too many chances late in the game. We did get one nice rush from Toews though.

That little showing was crazy. I was definately jumping around the living room swearing on that rush.

I haven't been impressed with either team this weekend. The only people that have really been consistent are the goalies.

I watched the game on ESPN today. It was a definately a good game for Rutgers. Congratulations.

It seems like the first 10 minutes of the game there wasn't a single stop in play. These last few minutes have been non-stop whistles.

Bad way to start the game. We also just gave them 2 close shots at the net. UND going on the power play here. We need to get a spark here and get the game going boys.

I have sat in section 311 with the visiting fans the last 2 weekends. All I can say is that up in that corner, our fans sounded and looked dead. The students were making a good effort but it seemed that nobody else was willing to help them out. When there is a minute left in the game, we are down by 1, on the power play, with the goalie pulled, the ENTIRE arena should be on it's feet screaming. Now I understand why visiting fans always talk about how dead the Ralph is.
