  1. The ladies had a tough 4-3 overtime loss against Ohio State yesterday. Hopefully the ladies can get it back today. I am getting ready to head off to the game. I hope to see everyone there as it is the ladies last home game of the season.
  2. Informant, I am still trying to figure out what you are trying to accomplish here. We at SS.com do not sit around bashing NDSU and Fargo. The bison are rarely mentioned on this site except for the occasional joke, which is to be expected in a rivalry. However, if you go to bisonville.com and read their message board, there is thread after thread that does nothing more than belittle UND and trash Grand Forks. Member after member there has some remark about UND in their signature lines, avatars, or even their screen names (i.e. ih8dasue). They have even devoted an entire section just for trashing UND and GF. On the other hand, People on this board very seldom discuss NDSU. We don't have a section devoted to trashing NDSU. Every single thread that is started doesn't end up a UND/ndsu battle. Our signature lines and avatars aren't all anti-bison. You seem to be the only one who wants to keep bringing up the bison on here and inform us how much better their dynasty years were compared to anything UND has (7 DI NCs!) Most of us here are too busy being UND fans and following our own great teams to spend time bashing the ag college. And I admit that I am a Sioux fan that supports a DI move and do read bisonville to see how their teams are doing. But I do not go there and participate in all of the smack talk. I enjoy following how all of the colleges in ND do. So my question to you is what are you trying to accomplish here? I just can't quite figure it out. I have said this many times: go to bisonville.com and read the thread after thread belittleing UND and Grand Forks and then come back and let us know which school hasn't been able to actually move on.
  3. Apparently Dr. Charles Kupchella is determined to make his legacy a parking ramp... Herald Article I don't mind UND trying to better the parking situation, but 16.2 million could be spent alot better! And the place that they plan on building the parking ramp is rediculous. When people are coming onto campus from Gateway Dr., Columbia or East University there is nothing to welcome someone to campus like a 5 story parking garage overlooking Colimbia. First off, I don't think the parking situation at UND is bad enough to justify a 16.2 million parking garage on campus. Second, if they are determined to build one on campus, there are many better places. The back of the parking lot behind the Chester Fritz Auditorium would be the perfect place for a parking garage and it would be out of sight there. And with the new Dormitory going up over there, they will need added parking anyway. Really, if you ask me, 16.2 MM could be MUCH BETTER SPENT! What about classrooms? What about expanding UND's Research corridor? I bet 16.2 MM would go a long way in that new medical research corridor they want to build over by the I-29 truck stop? He!!, I bet 16.2 MM would pay for that new dorm they are putting up on campus. I just think that this is too much for a parking ramp, that really isn't needed that much, and I think it is in the wrong area!
  4. I agree with your jersey color comment but I would have to say it would be much more funny if they came up with something like "Bever Rejects..." This would work for any of the WCHA Minnesota schools and if you ask me would be more of a insult than anything! We have to get this cheer going the next time UM-TC plays, who's with me?
  5. I had to switch to Bloody Beers. The Vodka was getting to me too much... but they will be back!
  6. So what is everyone drinkin tonight? Caesars here.
  7. I love how Stafford doesn't even remotely crack a smile after he scores. Talk about determined.
  8. UND power play... Let's increase that lead guys!
  9. DVD? That is awesome. Would you be willing to hook me up with copies also? PM me and let me know what's up.
  10. There was my commercial! The guys better make the regional cause I'm lookin forward to it!
  11. I can still hate them though, right?
  12. UPDATE: UM-TC/DU tied 1-1 13 minutes left in the 2nd. Check that... UM scores 18 secods later to go back up 2-1.
  13. 4-on-4
  14. So basically the same thing as the FSSN...
  15. What is this being aired on?
  16. That goal should liven it up in here!
  17. Anybody here?!?! It seems a little dead.
  18. Howdy Everybody! The Ceasars are mixed and I am ready for some HOCKEY!!!
  19. Go with the GREEN! I think we need to get more people to wear green when attending games. Our crowd should be a sea of green. Plus, I personally think the green jerseys look the best, then the black. And as MafiaMan pointed out:
  20. Don't you mean buffalo chip?
  21. Not Really...
  22. UND - 37 USD - 28 Halftime UND came out really strong but USD has been getting some lucky long range toss ups.
  23. That is what I have been saying! We could take out one of the club lounges and continue the bowl seating around on that end of the rink. It could easily boost capacity up to 13-14,000. This would also allow us to sell more season tickets = more $$$! If a NDSU grad says it, it must be right!!!
  24. I don't know the support columns of the Alerus inside and out but just from what I've seen, I don't think it would actually be that extremely difficult to build a suite level on the west side. It may end up overhanging the west stands some but I don't think it would be too difficult. What if they put 8-10 rows of seating running along both cat-walks? I know alot of people like to stand up there and watch the game from that view. But if you could put people 8-10 deep along the entire distance, it could add a good chunk of seats rather cheaply. Or if they are worried about blocking the cat-walks, it would be just as easy to put end seating similar to that in the Sioux Center running along the back of the endzone. They wouldn't be huge but would still add a nice chunk of seating behind each endzone. I am sure those would go rather easily.
