According to my frozen feed there is still over 8 minutes to go. What a waste of 3 1/2 hours. It's not even gonna let me see who wins.

My feed has gotten so choppy that it is like watching a slide show now. The sound finally gave out too. I haven't sat here for this long to not get to see the winning goal.

Wasn't Buning supposed to be on Hot Talk thursday morning to talk about the athletic department and the possible move to DI? Did anybody catch what he said or did I just completely dream this?

I hate when people make statements like these. It makes us look just as petty and rediculous as GK. I, however, understand the aspect of the argument of when is GK going to stop trying to do nothing but find negatives and acknowledge the good that UND does for Native Americans. That is a much better argument.

I am sitting here watching the game with some friends and cheering against the Gophers. I said in the middle of the game that maybe I should be cheering for the Gophers just so that we could watch the championship live. Oh well. It is worth it. I will just have to find a bar that has ESPNU!

I stayed at one of the motels in GF last night and it was the same one that Michigan's team is staying at. There was a second bus of michigan students and fans. I assumed it was their band.

I have been told that another reason the University choose the UND flame logo instead of the Sioux logo is that it brings more recognition to the University as a whole. I can't blame them for wanting to expand the recognition from just the athletic department to the University as a whole.

Did you hear anything official or just people talking? There have been people talking all week that it "might" be cancled because of the other concerts being cancled. But I haven't heard anything official. Both the Alerus Center and ticketmaster websites still have it listed. I hope it's a go. The Alerus has had some bad luck with cancled shows and shows backing out. Losing another show won't help their bottom line.

Since they are reprinting the posters they might as well just print "2006 Champions" next to our name.

Wow, some people take everything a bit too literally. Hey, the Big 10 has been trying to get Notre Dame to join for years now. But it doesn't look like ND is going to seriously look at that any time soon. So maybe the Big 10 has decided to go for the next best thing and go after the other Fighting ND that wears green. But seriously, if Big Ten hockey ever happened, the two ND schools would be the first ones looked at to be associate members in hockey. I would take that!

If some people agree? Like maybe some DI conference presidents? You can't tell me that there hasn't been some private phone calls made and closed door discussions. I am sure there is more going on than any of us know. Big 10 perhaps? We are in pretty close with a few of those schools already. I heard 2 of their presidents wil be visiting our campus this weekend. And by adding UND, the BTHC would be that much closer to reality.
