Or schedule a ND/SD game and a Montana/Wyoming game the weekend after the ND/Montana game. Set it up so that each state gets a home game every year. The first year ND plays in Montana and turns around and hosts SD the next weekend. First weekend ND in Montana Wyoming in SD Next weekend SD in ND Montana in Wyoming And then reverse them the next year. That way each state gets a home game every year.

If the name and logo should ever go away, I would not want the administration to hold some cheesy contest for a new name. I would want the administration to just drop the name and logo and let one come about naturally. Give it time and see if one naturally comes to the forefront that most fans and alumni could get behind. Trying to force a new name on the athletic department that the administration chose behind closed doors just doesn't seem right. SDSU fans are pretty worked up that their administration just wants to update their logo. I wonder what SS.com posters would get behind for a new name?

Why would UND make any long term decisions on the name before the trial is over? Just another rumor started by AC fans.

In theory, this year should have been the hardest to attract the recruits that we were after as this class will not have a chance to see the playoffs. At least you can sell next year's class on the possibility of making the DI FCS playoffs their senior year. I'm definately looking forward to our future!!!

I loved how Steve Halstrom thought that deserved the #1 sports story. I wonder if it had anything to do with that fact that it was down to NDSU and UND?

Here is an entire thread that discusses how UND will offer scholarships during the transition. As far as FB, UND will offer 57 schollies it's first year in DI then up to the full 63.

Were we supposed to base our DI decision on Minn, Wisco and Iowa?!?! Quite frankly, I would rather see a game against UNI.

Ohio State wins it with 4 seconds left in overtime after the Sioux were controlling play. The play by play guy said that it is the hardest he has seen the team play all year. They actually played with a little heart. A VERY tough one to lose. We should have at least gotten 1 point out of this game. Talk about absolutely no luck. This is the way things have gone for this program since it started.

Going to overtime. Sioux seemed to be in control through the third.

UND just tied it on a power play goal!!!! 2-2 with about 9 minutes left.

UND vs. OSU Friday OSU 2 UND 1 End of 2nd. UND playing well.

I figured that with a new website that we would see more multimedia incorporated. One has to wonder how much the FSSN will figure into this and if we will begin to see more offerings on FSSN as well.

I think they are most likely just doing some trial runs. The old site is still up but there are sections of it that have been going on and off line the last couple hours. Unless they are switching it over as we speak.

No one has answered the parking question. Anyone have any tips? My group and I will not be getting to the arena until right before the puck drops. Any info on what our best bet might be?

There is a group of us going down to Mariucci for the first time also. Unfortunately we can't leave until friday at 1. So we will get there just in time for the game on friday. Our tickets are also SRO. All of us with SRO will have to take over a section and congregate together!

Hey, don't blame them for accurately portraying American Indians. These 2 females are both apparently 1/8th Seminole and obviously approve of FSU's antics. Obviously UND should be following FSU's lead. If only UND was as sensitive as them.

That is what we needed. Hopefully Oshie's excitement after the game rubs off on the rest of the guys for this upcoming series. Anyone else going down? I think I'm gonna go start packing right now and camp out in my car till friday.
