I think the picks are fair, maybe switch Smaby and Googley Googley. I'd also switch Lee for Chorney. Otherwise it's really Drew and Travis's fault they're not higher.

With all that's been said and compared on here, thanks for making the Oshie > Kessel argument. Vanek recieved his because of overall contribution, not just stats. What these two teams and players do from here to 4/8 will determine who really is deserving. Kessell is great, saw all his games in th 05' WJC and was fun to watch. I also agree with wanting him for our team. I was hoping I'd run into him and let him know he was playing where he should go to school. The two players are very different, would like them both on any team I cheer for, and it'll come down to guess who, 'the committee'. Who'd thought?

Nice part of town yes (actually better part), and I like the north BW3 more, but... Way too many Gopher fans. We went up there for the Fri. night game in Jan. and were the only Sioux fans in the joint. I've been to several games at S-BW3 and much better mix of a crowd. Minnesota will go to Green Bay if the Sioux are a #4 seed, period. First round intra-conference matchups are avoided at all costs. Sending Miami or Wisconsin to UND would happen first. Yes, the #1 overall deserves to travel across the country if it means a weaker schedule which they deserve.

You're probably right about Gee-off, but where the game slipped away was the two penalties in the third that were both dives. I really don't mind that we lost. When we had two chances, one by Toews and one by Porter to pull off classic Gwoz/Eaves diving c-rap, we didn't allow that kind of play to enter our game. Denver goals 3 and 4 were direct causes of not bad calls but perfect acting. PERIOD. The momentum was lost, the boyz were frustrated, and the dip-shite Denver fans finally woke up. These were the causes of the breakdown. I have been to a lot of the opposing arenas but the Denver fans are a bunch of morons. They know nothing of the sport of hockey. Baby food, pacifiers, and bright shinny objects are the only things that will help them understand the game.
