The starting pitching has been really good the past few weeks. With Stewart still on the IL, it'd be nice to get a 7th inning bullpen guy to go with Jax, Duran, Thielbar. Maybe its Topa, but I think you make Varland that guy if Stewart is going to be out longer than you expected.

Late first round/early second from the looks of it, but if you're a team that needs help on the back end taking a 6-4 kid that is a defensive defenseman is never the wrong choice. A lot of those teams in the top 10 would get a gift to get a top ten kid and then him early in round 2.

Baseball regionals/super regionals are on campus. Volleyball, FCS Football, Lacrosse, soccer, and even the flipping FBS with the new system is on campus the first round. Nothing will happen until BC plays BU in Loveland on a Sunday, but that won't happen because there are always three regionals within a bus ride of their campus.

We went to the streaming services a while back and it was the right move. I used to watch every game, and would love to still do so, but the cost for all the sports channels through Midco is ridiculous, and if they don't have Bally it makes it more ridiculous.

The Twins had every opportunity and heads up to come up with a streaming service like the Diamondbacks. I'll pay $99.99 for a season of only Twins games. Sixty cents per game, I'm sure a number of fans would do the same.

The crazy part is that now they've got their bullpen in order with Duran coming back. And innings 7-9 should be accounted for in tight ball games. The starting pitcher just gets it to the 6th at the least in a tie or with a lead and you should be able to take most games to the end. You've got bridge guys too like Sands, Funderburk, Jackson, Okert, with Bowman getting the DFA or assignment. Maybe a return of Varland to the bullpen if he can't get starting figured out.

Better get the job done sooner than later in the big boy world of professional sports. Overachieve one year, and ending up where you likely should end up based on your talent ends up costing you your job. Either way, I'm sure he has some buy out money from that contract headed his way.
