I'm guilty of this. I put my money on the Eagles, but wanted the NCHC conference foe to win the game. If it was Duluth-BC I probably would have wanted BC to win for more than just my wallet.

I'm not ready to call Denver as lucky as Duluth was. And I know that we are joking around a bit with the whole "lucky topic", but I digress... ~Bowling Green literally scored on themselves late to give Duluth life..... (2019) ~Little goalie from Michigan shutting down the pony express in the performance of his life at the X (UND would have beaten Duluth). (2011) ~Before they got to that point in 2011, Yale's best player is given a major penalty for head contact in the regional final when he went shoulder to shoulder with the Duluth player. This was before they reviewed major penalties. Those two goals on the 5 minute major were the difference in that game. ~Making the NCAA tournament being the last team in with every single game going their way on conference championship Saturday to get in. Then Air Force knocks off the #1 overall seed SCSU. (2018) Maybe its my blind hatred of Duluth, but I can appreciate what Denver has done a lot more than what Duluth did.

Denver and BC. Denver is going to need their goaltender to stay hot. Carle is a good coach, he will give his guys a puncher's chance.

BC is so skilled offensively that any of those cute plays up top can just kill you the other way. Now Michigan has to take some chances....not good for them.

Hey we got a point per game kid who takes tons of draws and is 205 lbs. Played in the NCAA tournament, and that looks like a letter on the sweater to me. Also got a goalie who won the beanpot, and the last goalie that did that and wore a UND sweater was a Parise. AND!!!! This weekend I beat my father in law by 5 strokes on his home course but a few miles from Mullett Arena with his "old set" of golf clubs. Things could be worse.
