Hobie played well in relief. Can't give up 3 on 4 shots. That's a loss....every time.

Hedquist has been good in relief. Shots 15-11 Cornell.

So like others have said, I think you put Jammer up on the top line, and use Littler in place of him on the 4th line. I wouldn't mess with 26-9-18, or 7-15-21. I could see Brad using Wilkie or Strinden up there with McLaughlin centering the line if its Strinden. Good opportunity for Littler and Croal to get some experience playing against a physical and well coached team like Cornell. The D corps will be shorthanded. I can't see Montgomery getting a ton of ice time barring an injury or its mop up time in a 5-1 game where we are just in a race to get to the finish line. Goaltender wise I'm feeling the staff going with Hedquist tonight.

Excited about the new QB recruit. With a bunch of FBS schools hoping he'd play defense there is always the possibility if the QB thing doesn't work out he could go on the defensive side of the ball. Or he'd just transfer out with the way things work in college sports nowadays.

SDSU isn't nearly what they were the last two seasons, thought the Yotes should've beaten them. At the same time 1-3 is still very much on the table....heck 0-4....

You would wish the team would be ultra focused on this game, and play out the rest of the season as if each game was a playoff game, but we know that isn't the case with what we've seen in the past. A positive going into the game is that our QB play is trending upwards. Simon was in complete control on the plays he was on the field....(see what I did there). This is another not good team that UND shouldn't lose too, but we are what we are on the road. Offensively do they go with more of a ball control approach to keep our defense off the field (Bubba ball....gasp), or do we know that we'll have to score at least 45 to win the game? I've got no clue on the score. Probably a lot of points as our defense isn't interested in stopping anyone on the road.

The 2016 Stony Brook game..... 13-9 loss because our offense under Rudy at times was as high octane as two tortoises getting it on. We are going to win 9-7 because their coach was very much Bubba ball too and loved him a good "punt is a good play" game too. I just checked and UND punted 8 times. Unfortunately we lose on a blocked punt TD in the 4th quarter. UND was marching in the 4th but The Manitoba Moose is stopped on 4th and 1 and we couldn't get it back, not like it would have mattered.
