A lot of teams do this against Hazen in the West. Hasn't bitten any of them yet. You only get so many games of varsity hockey and they don't want to "waste" a varsity game or two playing against Hazen when you can have your "JV" (Every kid that isn't a senior on the varsity with the JV) get your six points. At some point I imagine a team will get burned by this, but to my knowledge it hasn't happened yet. BHS figured they needed their varsity to get their points, but weren't able to get it done with their top kids.

Denver at a glance -They are 10-3-1 -They just nuked Yale. -Their new goalie is Freddie Halyk, a 6-5 Alberta kid that got his GAA down to 2.3 after their two shutouts of Yale. 89% save percentage. -This Rizzo kid I've never heard of is leading them in points, and is a +19. -There will be an extremely poor attempt at humor from a once funny blog called LetsgoDu coming sometime this week. At one time it was good, now it's just played past its prime and needs to be put to pasture. Anything less than a split is incomprehensible....

Still one of my favorite players all time at UND. Loved watching him play old school physical CB. I'm sure he's not the only former defensive player that has issues with the state of the program.
