Like what in the general hell was Ludvig doing trying a sling shot play with the puck in tight quarters? Not as bad as the BU goalie against Providence, but that's impossible to recover from. I think we needed to dress Benoit more as the extra skater for this exact reason tonight. You don't have Pyke and we are playing 5 d because you can't afford to have Benoit play. He just didn't get enough time this year to get acclimated. I picked them to lose and it still sucks.

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
Wilbur replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
It's going to be almost ten years since our last Frozen Four when the 2025 NCAA tournament starts. I don't know how we do it, but the play late in the season the last few years....holy man... Maybe some consistency in the lines. Start there? -
That was on Blake. No time left, be done.
-
No, he tried a play at the end. On him.
-
What a save.
-
I'd have possession first....
-
Pehrson...what shift.
-
3-2....no momentum....
-
We scored on ourself.
-
Ludvig.....
-
Let's play to win this period. I watched BC go for the jugular, let's do the same thing. Get the next one green.
-
Ludvig has been sharp. Solid back there. The refs are letting stuff go, I'm fine by it. Their PP is 33%....let's play 5x5, especially with our PP at times. Benoit didn't play that period, need those TV time-outs so much.
-
D zone boys. Just simple plays okay....
-
Hey now lines....
-
If Gaber is hurt he's gotta sit. Just has to.
-
They know we have a D out. They want to take Zmolek.
-
Simple plays 22. Come on.
-
Blake with more poise with the puck.
-
Needed Gaber on those looks....come on Senior.
-
Now let's go guys. Attack mentality. Get another one.
-
There is a Hobey play.
-
Blake with a good shift then a logo killer. Better.
-
D zone shows up again.
-
Honestly, a special teams play helps the Maize. I'm okay with not calling the small stuff, just be consistent.

Long change period ahead. Let's fight for #2.
