I'm in favor of just releasing Ponder. Be done with him. That way there isn't any possibility of him starting again.

At least Ponder didn't play well. Then all we would have heard about is give him another chance, he's starting to figure it out. Freeman for a few more weeks, then after 1-15, try to find a QB again.
