  1. I'd put Rocco in the carrying his weight category. He has been an offensive threat even though he hasn't buried some of his chances. As far as other guys go Parks would definitely be in the not carrying his weight. I mean no goals. Come on.......
  2. This is just off the top of my head, please feel free to add or subtract here. Guys that are pulling their weight: ~Kristo, Saunders, Simpson, McMillan, MacWilliam, Rodwell, Knight (although can't buy a goal), Forbort, Mattson..... Guys that need to pick up their play: ~Rowney, Gleason, O'Donnell, Caggiula, Chyzyk, Schmaltz, Gothberg I'd say probably the biggest disappointment thus far to me personally has been Rowney. He does have 6 points in eleven games he has played, but after the way he finished last year I thought he'd ripping up the net all year. Lots of games left.
  3. The funny thing is that they're playing better than yesterday.....but still very very ugly at times.
  4. Finishing is the story so far. How many UND players could say they should have scored? Knight, Rocco, O'Donnell. Got to put the puck in the net.
  5. Was wondering the same thing. Where in the hell is Kristo?
  6. The icing on the cake was the girl at Alary's that had a boyfriend on the Denver team. "I talked to my boyfriend, and he plays for Denver, and your player isn't even hurt. My boyfriend said he was faking it." In sassy gum chewing snot nosed girl voice of course.....
  7. Pffff.....the Bina incident was interference. Or was it boarding? I can't remember. Don Adam was right on top of the call. There is no way an official can be five feet away from a play and miss a CFB that badly. The Denver fans near me assured me that Bina took a dive, and was carted out in an effort to draw a larger penalty.
  8. Exactly. When is the last time that won a team a national championship? Outside of when Alfie Michaud went unconscious for Maine.
  9. Maybe its a move to try and keep Saunders fresh, and not make him the workhorse so early in the year. Could be a wake up call to the team as well. May need to step up their play a bit.
  10. Kind of surprised by this, but he played well his last time out. A better effort is needed by everyone around him.
  11. Can't be happy with their play yesterday. One official being in the right position away from a tie, and one goaltender away from a loss. Forget about Friday, go and get a sweep against a good team on the road. PS: When was the last time before last night that we could say a UND goaltender stole a game? Nice to be on the other side of that one.
  12. He was right to blow the whistle given the circumstances. I think where he ends up being at fault is not finding a better position around the goal to find the puck. Then again, it all could of been a wash had he called CFB on Simpson earlier.
  13. Talk about an awful call.....wow. Great camera angle to see how wrong the official was. Then again, Notre Dame isn't on the powerplay if he doesn't make a different awful call two minutes earlier.
  14. Never a handshake after Friday tilt. At least in the WCHA play. Notre Dame played in Grand Forks last year, so it can't be a total shock to them that UND was following their normal protocol with the hand shake. Thoughts: ~Saunders has to be in again tomorrow. ~Third period was the best period of the night. First two weren't pretty. ~Gleason was better, but still turns the puck over way too much on simple plays. Was a good penalty killer out there. Did not see the replay, but I'll buy the reff meant to blow his whistle. North Dakota will take that bounce.
  15. Ummm....explanation there? Should be tied.
  16. Awful play defensively there in the neutral zone.
  17. 4th line out against Lee again. Hak has more faith than I.
  18. Just about five minutes left here. The third period has been better defensively. Getting back to Sioux hockey just a bit. Chip it in, beat on defensemen, cycle, pucks to the net. Defensively its chip it out mode.
  19. That might have been the best breakout all year long right there. Rowney's line. Good puck support, short passes.....nice work.
  20. Good come back shift by the fourth unit. Better shift fellas. Nice job.
  21. Okay.....I like our fourth line, but they can't get caught out there against Lee's line. Chyzyk throws the puck away and it was all down hill from there. Powerplay comes up because of it.
  22. I will agree. Does a very good job of calling the play by play. But the great ones don't let you know what team they're rooting on.
