  1. I'll take the UND team I've seen the last six minutes. Completely dominating the game. Plus......they aren't sitting on the lead.
  2. Some thoughts: ~Another solid game from Zane. Good consistent goaltending will win you some games. ~The young defensemen all played very well. I think LaDue-Thompson will be together for a time. Read each very well in the offensive end, and breaking the puck out of the zone. ~Seemed like the no goal sparked the team. Think they were kind of just getting by there in the third. Sparked them a bit and finished strong. ~Four wins in a row for the fellas. Major let down if NMU sneaks one out tomorrow. Got to "Back this one up" like the head coach said post game.
  3. My bad. Rule is on page 74 of the rulebook online. Link: http://www.ncaapublications.com/productdownloads/IH14.pdf
  4. I agree. But he visually impaired him, which is what the rule says.
  5. I had absolutely no clue this was a rule. I know you can't physically prevent the goaltender from stopping the puck, but I guess you can't screen him while in the crease either.
  6. RULE 83.6 of NCAA rule book under disallowed goals. On page 74. If an attacking player interferes with the goalkeeper in the crease physically or visually, preventing the goalkeeper from defending the goal. The Officials got it right according to the rule book.
  7. So you can be in the crease, but you can't impair the goaltender's vision while in the crease? Need to look at the rule book.
  8. Visually impairing the goaltender in the crease? Could someone explain to Kober and Dan that Mac wasn't in the crease while screening the NMU goaltender so they don't sound so stupid.
  9. Taking penalties is how....hmmm....3-2 UND now.
  10. Northern is playing their type of game. Almost a lull you to sleep type game, but they can't score, and they're behind by a few goals. They haven't engaged their d in any of the attacks in the offensive end, and basically its four men across the blue line when UND goes on the attack. Not exactly sure how they are supposed to get back in this game unless UND scores on themselves two more times.
  11. Game is going to get chippy here. Northern taking some liberties. And why on earth did he blow the whistle?
  12. #9 for Northern may have a target on his back after that one. Talk about cheap crap....wow. 3-0 Sioux.
  13. UND a bit on their heals now. Zane has been pretty solid in shutting down the wildcats and not giving them second chance opportunities. Nice to see St. Clair back. Kober may marry his daughter off to him.
  14. Honestly they could have let those two penalties go. An entire period without a penalty in college hockey....say it ain't so. Like a period at Mariucci without a gophers power play.....just doesn't happen.
  15. Its been mentioned, but boy is it nice watching 5 on 5 hockey with few whistles and very little interference from officials. The BU officials need to watch how this first period has been officiated. And I blew it......slashing penalty....my fault.
  16. Yeah be as upset as you want at that one, but no reason to win that game. They have to get better at the QB position and they aren't going to do it by winning meaningless games on the road without AP. Hold AP out the rest of the year and finish 3-12-1. May be time though to think about a new late game philosophy on defense. Thats the definition of $hitting the bed about five times at the end of games.
  17. Did you type wrong again?
  18. I think Bohl will be fully focused on winning the national championship with this group. They have put together a tremendous run, and I think he owes it to them to stick around and coach his @ss off so they find themselves in Texas again at the end of the season. That being said, I think this group would win it with or without him.
  19. I looked up Craig Bohl to Nebraska and ended up on huskerboard.com. They are not very fond of Fargo's sweet heart. Did not know Bohl was fired from Nebraska.
  20. I have a feeling Vigen is a NDSU lifer. Could be the next HC. Knows the program, knows the recruiting area. Unless he is also swayed by $$greener$$ pastures.....
