Central will lose over 300 points from their senior class after this season. And if Caufield goes to juniors it pushes it up to around the 370s or 380s. As soon as they update the high school site we will have an official number. That is unreal.

I don't know if you will see a better high school hockey team in ND for some time. This Central group is just an absolute buzz saw. Congrats to them, the best team won.

It is senior weekend next weekend for Miami, and we found out tonight how hard it is to play on senior night right? Right??

Bismarck will probably take a bit of the Minot approach except for they will play the body like its a lost art. They will hit Central from the second they step off the bus. I think Central's goalie is the key. He won't see a ton of pucks, but Bismarck's top kids will get their chances, and if he's up to the task Bismarck faces a steeper hill than they already have. I'm sticking to Central wins 4-3.

UND has played nine periods of hockey against Omaha and scored in every period so far. Deano's back end may push him into retirement.

I'll say Central 4, Bismarck 3.

Not much of a prediction with two good teams going at it. Both teams are so well coached. Glad it was a good game.

Just having western teams in the semifinals every year is a major improvement over what we've seen in the past. The EDC tournament used to be more competitive than the state tournament.
