If I'm Bubba I give full freedom to Danny on the headset to unleash everything offensively on the Bengals. Montana put a bunch on them and there is no reason we can't put up 45 plus on this team. It's not a hostile environment, it's a big old quonset with a football field.
Huge game for Maag I think.
Kind of what we expected. My goal for the series was to get it to game 5, but seems like a bit of a pipe dream now.
If the Twins are serious about winning on Monday the right relievers need to be in down a few runs or up a few runs....
Hopefully this shows upper management we need pitching this offseason. And there will be money available.
I'm such a big Karl guy. Intelligent, a great person, and a guy that's been everywhere in the hockey world. I would not be surprised to see him as a head coach somewhere in the next three years. Maybe here some day.
The zone entries were the biggest thing for me. Giving up posession a man up dumping the puck is never a great hockey play in my book.
I'm sure I wasn't the only one to notice them shrink the rink a few times and completely eliminate the pk's ability to to attack indirect passing plays off the wall.
(Kind of reminded me of the gophers a few times trying to set up the back door play cross ice too....)
I think its completely obvious when Bubba takes away the aggressive nature of the offense.
"Hey Danny, go for the kill here."
Vs.
"Let's pound the ball and take time off the clock."
