I'm going to go with my gut. Perunovich is this years Hobey winner.

    The three that weren't goalies.
  4. My opinion (wrong a lot....a lot) is that Kleven goes first. Some articles I've read have Kleven being a sleeper first rounder because of his skating abilities, but definitely 2nd. Being 6'4 helps too. Right now most have Miller tagged 3-4, but ranked as the 49th NA skater which isn't too far behind Kleven. Two full seasons in the USHL means he's played meat and potatoes hockey too. Pretend Tychonik stayed.....who would they not have brought in?
  5. Played one more season and just didn't have it. Rumors of him coming in out of shape his second year etc, Blais wasn't happy, etc. Played a year in the NAHL, before going to Quinnipiac and finishing there. Currently an assistant coach at Yale.
  6. Dubay likely sweating because he was having withdrawals in the postgame. God he wanted to call the Sioux classless goons but couldn't because Marney was sitting right there.....

I've been told that Kawaguchi got a lot of second assists at the Ralph all season long. Disgusting.....
  8. I think we have seen the end of Rieger on d. Seems like a certainty that Coop (I gave him a nickname!) comes in.
  9. Frisch-Kiersted JBD-Sanderson Bast-Kleven Moore..... Seems like Reiger's days on D may be over with.
  10. Jeez, I even after posted their correct shooting side the post before I still got it wrong...
  11. 2020-2021 d core..... -Bast (R) -JBD (L).....actually R -Kleven (L) -Sanderson (R).....actually L -Frisch (R) -Kiersted (L) -Reiger (R) -Moore (L) They have one spot to go. Gotta be Cooper Moore right? Or do they bring him and Miller in and Reiger is the Casey Johnson next year? This was probably posted somewhere. *The internet has Moore coming in next season....so I changed that.
  12. Boy I'm looking forward to seeing Sanderson. I've watched Kleven a few times, but everything you read about Sanderson is so positive. He's a left handed shot so you could see him play a ton of minutes with JBD this year.

Idiots in the media saying things like "Panzer got a lot of second assists at the Ralph" when he got more assists on the road that year. Those same people watched him be the best player on the ice hands down all season long and of course it has to be second assists.....
  14. Samberg, Richards, Perunovich..... Big shoes to fill on the back end and in the net. The same program won a national championship after they graduated a ton and got six games to all go the right way, so I'm never counting them out.
  15. I think its Kierstad's team. I think he gets named the captain. Seems like Gooch is a quiet leader. C-Kierstad A-Gooch A-Senden A-Adams
  16. Thanks for posting this one. I was at the game but spent entirely too much time pregaming at Alary's and don't remember much......
  17. Young kid steps in, wins all the NCHC goaltending awards for the next three years. Sounds like the way things have been going in Duluth.
  18. Duluth is due for an off year in the goaltending department right? I don't think they had another kid start a game all year other than Shepard did they?
  19. Next you'll want an all private school section of Minnesota high school hockey.....
  20. All time faves: -Tobey Kvelevog -Kevin Spiewak -Jason Noterman -Mike Commodore The way the entire arena said Hooooogsteen was epic.
  21. I agree here. Hate to speculate about what the issue was. Extremely short leash, spot on. Good luck to the kid. Duluth loses a lot on the back end, wonder if he looks at them as an option.
  22. This is spot on what I had for three weeks in November.
  23. My golf course actually is open today. They letting you on the course?
  24. We all know how talented he is, but to hear his coach rave about his hockey sense and IQ is fantastic.
  25. @Blackheart is the MVP of the sports world right now. The 97 team made me truly fall in love with the Fighting Sioux. My dad always talked about how great the program was. We went to games, but I never really understood until that year. We lived and died together during that magical run. My dad also picked me up early from school so we could watch the Thursday CC beatdown. My mom was pissed but my dad always said she'd get over it.
