I've always a fan of the fake jet sweep with a speedster to hold the OLB and then power up the middle. Running it with Kett is more effective than Brock. Boltman could hit a homerun with it, but when the defense see its him playing QB that chance gets slimmer.

Series will come down to UND adjusting to Lake Mariucci and our guys going attack mentality on a team they should dominate 5x5. Smith, Adams, JBD, Gooch, Hain. 5-2 good guys.

I'm just irritated by more and more kids choosing not to play ND high school hockey. I know its discussed at the coaches meetings, but something seriously needs to be done. Double class system, more games, statewide league....I don't know..... In Minot I know of at least four kids that have went the midget hockey route. And those are all kids who have strong ties to the Minot Hockey community. And then you'll have of all names...a Panzer playing AGAINST GFC this year for East Grand.

Looks like Friday morning there is a bit of opportunity before the crap hits the fan and mother nature goes off her pills for three months. Thursday looks okay for the most part too.

This is a huge issue IMHO with our fanbase right now. I've been a fan since I left the hospital in the Fighting Sioux onesie and I've never seen the hockey/football line in the sand as bad as it is now. I'll put a lot of the blame on the athletic department for not putting more into football, but at the same time maybe it started when hockey was gifted the nicest facility in the nation and the football team was still getting dressed and lifting at Memorial (That underpass.....scary). I was at the Ralph a few years ago and football players were selling 50/50 tickets and at the same time were bit$hing about how they'd never seen any hockey players at their games or supporting them, etc. I'm a huge fan of both sports. I apologize to the basketball teams/volleyball/soccer. I don't follow them as much. I wonder if it's like this everywhere????

Crazy part of that Livingston team is that the next week they took eventual national champion Northern Michigan down to the wire only losing by 2 points in the semifinals at a neutral site. Livingston is still a bad word around my dad. Was a student at the time and can talk about that game like it was yesterday.

I'll respectfully disagree about Lance playing better now than week 2. He was 11-15 passing with two TDs and ran for almost 100 yards and two TDs at almost 6 yards a pop. I'd say the kid had himself a really really good game in only his second start. Watson has been better. If UND gets to the Fargodome would be fun to see him and Holm and matchup.

Okay.....Nicholls is an RPO team. QB Fourcade is a battler. Beat Kansas in Kansas last year and he scored the game winning TD in OT. Not great great speed, but looks like teams want to keep him in the pocket and force them to beat them with his arm. Last game, 9 carries for -5 yards, but did enough with his arm. It baffles me how Sam could shut them out.....maybe that game was played in a hail storm....I dunno..... Our offense should move the ball on this defense. They give up over 28 points per game, and gives up 4.1 yards a pop in the run game. Upon further review, we win.....37-24.

Hah, we beat them with Touchdown Tommy!!! I'm very interested to watch some film on the QB for this team. Are his stats a direct reflection of playing in a poor conference or can the kid play ball?

NCAA decides this. They pay for the plane and the hotel, etc. I'd assume they fly them in on Friday.

Tough decisions for all involved with #6. Not sure if there is a right or wrong answer. -Yes, he has to play in LA. Absolutely need him. -IMHO he has to play if they make it to Fargo. Too much history in the rivalry (there is that word again) for him not to play and for us to not put our best team on the field. *Want to congratulate the team on going unbeaten at home. People didn't show up in the masses to watch them, but they did everything they possibly could have record wise on the turf at the Alerus.

My nightmare almost came true: -UND finishes 7-4 after Weber loss and uninspired UNC showing. -SIU plays an NDSU team that flat out didn't try very hard and rested some dinged up guys. -SIU plays a decent game at home and still loses against a team that went through the motions in a meaningless game for them and won. -Mcfooly blows his load about SIU belonging and writes an article about it to piss off UND fans because then it seems like Fargo media has some say in the process if UND is left out. -UND is last team out.

The chair guy just defended North Dakota getting. It's a sad day for Mcfeely. His word still means nothing....

So why wouldn't they just take all the highest bids and make those teams the hosts?

I'm going to miss watching Ahcan play college hockey. Kid was just a warrior all weekend, playing a ton of minutes for a team not that skilled up front. Definitely a kid that will be a sought after free agent again this summer. Never forget watching him at the 2017 WJC up in Canada.
