Yeah, I was hoping he would have a crazy good game and there wouldn't be a doubt this was his last game. Seems like this UCA team has some good athletes. Most of the time the talent of the teams NDSU plays isn't close.

Call me a cultist (didn't vote for Trump or Hilary in 2016 so I'm not totally sure if I qualify), but it seems as though the numbers of those with Covid is grossly underestimated in my opinion (are we still allowed those in debate?) My kid has three buddies in quarantine who tested positive and they are all asymptomatic, yet following quarantine protocols as demanded by the state. And this is small town ND. How many kids raising themselves on the streets of (fill in your big city) have it and won't ever be tested because they don't see mom or dad more than 10 minutes a day? Those kids could have it, have transmitted it, but will never know based on symptoms they never felt. And Bob Gibson died, my grandpa's favorite player....2020....

Just a quick question. Are all Republicans cultists or just the ones voting for Trump? Like would Romney be a cultist or the McCain family? Flake?

My Grandma is in a nursing home in Minot and literally hasn't been let out of her room for 7 months. People with masks and gloves leave all their meals on a table by their door. Seven residents tested positive last week.

My evil heart is happy all the AL Central teams lost other than us. Cleveland has a situation with Lindor that won't end well, but their pitching is set....again.... The White Sox are now the team to beat in the AL Central. With that said moves have to be made with the intention of staying in the arms race. The Twins can't allow them to get Bauer or the division is decided without the Sox having major injuries.

We had Pressly.....we had Kintzler.....we had Hendricks......

I don't have the energy to look up if this is real or satire. It can't be real.

So he has, many times obviously. Why do his haters say he hasn't? (Runs away from dumpster fire)

2020-21 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Better than the dumpster fire thread. Mods gotta mod! -
Sounds like Cruz will be back from what I read today. Let Marwin walk and throw money at Bauer to see if he hates Cleveland enough to pitch against them for a year. I try to keep May and Clippard too. Rotation could be: Bauer, Maeda, Pineda, Berrios, Dobnak. Bully: Stashak, Rodgers, Clippard, May, Thielbar, Duffy, Alcala. Teams like Miami have clamored over Rosario in the post season. That trade could get done now.

I used to teach in Wahpeton and had Ryan as a student. I remember watching a game against Jamestown that was an absolute track meet. The Jays were up huge early then the second half he was just unreal. You can't tackle what you can't catch. I remember having a conversation with him in my classroom about where he was going to go to play his college ball. I couldn't even try and push UND because it was in the middle of the transition. NDSU hadn't started their D1 dominance yet, but started his Soph year.

But how's his Tinder game????

I bet nobody asked them before someone decided it was offensive.

As a descendent of Norwegian and German Pioneers who took a risk and came to North Dakota to start farms I'd say its about time. I say take back all of DU's national championships and put each hockey player into sensitivity training. Especially that Brink kid, he's good. It's about time. Its about time.

When the offense isn't going that's your time as a manager to try and create offense. Hit and run, steal, bunt, etc. The numbers can say all they want, but when your team is lacking an approach you've got to make something happen instead of sitting back and letting nothing happen. For God sakes, its okay to have a runner thrown out from time to time. Losing Romo should help his bullpen management, although the only way to go from here is up with pitching decisions.

Or not bunted Gladden over to third base.

If they let Cruz walk and trade Rosario they'd have the salary to go after Brantley. I'd love to see Hendricks back, but all star closer will have a price tag.
-
I agree. Cruz isn't getting any younger. They seriously blew it not trading Rosario before this season to the Marlins. They were willing to give us two good young arms and now we have zero trade leverage. I shop the market with Kepler too. Admit signing him long term was a mistake, and let the young kids come up and act like they care instead of him. Pitching wise they have questions. Maeda, Berrios, Pineda, and then maybe Alcala and Dobnak are your rotation. Gotta find a free agent pitcher, but they never go get big name pitchers.
-
At least Berrios was good and they didn't kick the ball around. Goodbye: Hill, Odorizzi, Romo, Avila, Bailey, Marwin, Homer. Decisions ahead on guys like May and Clippard and Rosario, and Cruz.

I just did not appreciate that championship enough in 1991. Watched every pitch of the series with my dad, and wondered why it was such a big deal for him. 30 years next year.

At what moment does a player step up and break this streak? Is there a hero?
-
Buxton pinch running for Cruz.
-
2-1 Astros. Stashak gives up a bomb. Nine bullets left. Then we are talking 18 consecutive and why Rocco is still the manager.
-
Why does Springer get to chirp but not Rosario??? Wow....
