No kidding. The delay of games were automatic, but the only penalty Finland got was an extremely dangerous high stick that had to be called. Right before the tying goal the blatant interference on our guy going to the net had to be called, but wasn't. Puck turned over, in our end, delay of game, when we should have been on a power play.

Last three gold medal games between the USA and Canada have gone the way of the USA. Its going to take a special effort from the boys tomorrow. "Great moments are born from great opportunity."

There are times Askarov is really good and times he's really bad. The latter showed up, but credit to Canada of course for their effort thus far.

Agreed. Their d core as a whole was off last night. Misplays at the blue line, poor clearances, poor gaps. The IIHF goes out of its way to punish physical play, but he is needed in the lineup.

Canada vs. Russia USA vs. Finland Going to need a much better performance against Finland. The quarterfinal round is always an interesting one, all four games ended up close. Canada gets Askarov, but which Askarov shows up?
